A TikTok detective claims to have spotted that Taylor Swift was hiding an engagement ring under her glove when she recently joined Travis Kelce on the field in Kansas City.
Swift congratulated Kelce in heartwarming scenes after the Chiefs’ NFL playoff win over the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead, which sealed their place in a third straight Super Bowl this weekend in New Orleans.
And as she prepares to cheer on Kelce in the big game this Sunday, the pop megastar finds herself at the center of engagement rumors once again.
TikTok user @motherhoodandstuff, whose real name is Elizabeth, is convinced that Swift wore gloves onto the field at Arrowhead to hide a rock on her finger.
‘As a woman who has worn wedding rings for over 10 years, that is what my gloves look like with my ring on,’ Elizabeth said after sharing a photo of Taylor kissing Travis that night.
‘Why is she wearing gloves in a heated box if not to hide the ring?’

She then added later in the video: ‘I’m pretty sure they’re engaged and they’ll announce it after the football season.’
Yet unfortunately for Elizabeth, a number of fans were quick to shut down her theory after pointing out that Swift was not wearing gloves or an engagement ring when she arrived at Arrowhead or when she watched the game in her private suite.
Others also stressed that her decision to wear gloves on the field was most likely due to freezing conditions in Kansas City that night.
‘I think….her hands are cold lol,’ one user replied sarcastically.
Another joked: ‘Or… or… hear me out… it’s REALLY cold in Kansas City’.
‘It’s also ya know just winter lol,’ wrote a third.
While another user also argued: ‘It’s not welded to her hand. If she was hiding an engagement she could just not wear it’.
Swift’s die-hard legion of fans have long speculated about the songstress getting engaged to Kelce, whom she began dating in the summer of 2023.of 2023.

Swift will be in New Orleans this Sunday as Kelce and the Chiefs bid to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
