BREAKING NEWS: Meghan Markle rubs salt in King Charles wounds after Palace cold surprise
Meghan Markle ‘sends SHARP message’ to King Charles with Diana tribute for Harry

Meghan Markle may have sent a deeply personal message to King Charles while celebrating Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday with an emotional tribute to his late mother, Princess Diana.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, marked her husband’s birthday on September 15 by sharing a touching video on social media, filled with intimate family moments.
Among the footage were heartwarming images of Harry with his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as well as affectionate moments featuring Meghan and the Duke of Sussex.
But it was Meghan’s choice of music that has sparked fresh speculation about the message behind the tribute.
The former Suits actress chose Tina Turner’s iconic song The Best to celebrate Harry – a track reportedly associated with some of Diana’s memories of her sons.
According to claims cited by New Idea, Diana used to play the song during the school run when she was taking William and Harry to school.
For one royal insider, Meghan’s decision to use the song was therefore about far more than simply wishing Harry a happy birthday.
Meghan ‘brought Diana back’ into Harry’s life

An insider told the publication that Meghan had effectively “brought back” Diana’s memory into Harry’s life through the birthday tribute.
The source claimed the gesture was intended to help Harry reconnect with “that same sense of family that he lost when his mum died.”
It was an intensely emotional suggestion, particularly given Harry’s long-standing public references to the impact of losing his mother at just 12 years old.
Diana died in Paris in 1997, leaving Harry and William to grow up without her.
Now, decades later, Meghan’s birthday tribute has reportedly been interpreted as an attempt to place Diana firmly at the centre of Harry’s new family life.
But there may also have been a sharper message beneath the emotion.
According to the insider, Meghan’s choice could have been her way of signalling to King Charles that she considers herself firmly aligned with Diana’s family.
The source claimed it was effectively Meghan saying that she is “team Spencer.”
Meghan and the Spencers grow closer?
The timing has become particularly striking because Harry and Meghan are now back in Britain after years living in the United States.
Their return has already placed renewed attention on their relationship with members of the Royal Family.
The couple have faced fresh tensions with the Palace after Charles reiterated that they remain private citizens rather than working royals.
Against that backdrop, Meghan’s alleged closeness to Diana’s relatives has attracted further scrutiny.
“There’s no doubt Meghan’s encouraging an alliance with the Spencers,” the insider claimed.
“After the King’s letter, she knows where their bread’s buttered and the Earl has been nothing but warm and kind to her and the children.”
The reference is to Charles Spencer, Diana’s younger brother and the 9th Earl Spencer.
Harry has maintained a relationship with his maternal family, and Charles Spencer has continued to speak publicly about his sister and her legacy.
His connection to Harry therefore carries an obvious emotional significance.
A dangerous new royal divide?

However, the growing association between the Sussexes and the Spencer family has also prompted a warning.
According to the report, Harry and Meghan could face serious consequences if their relationship with Diana’s family becomes part of a wider confrontation with the Royal Family.
“If there’s anything bad in there about the Royals, Harry and Meghan taking the Spencer side will distance them even further – probably irreparably – from the Royals,” the report stated.
That warning is particularly significant given the history between Harry and his father, King Charles, as well as the continuing strain between Harry and Prince William.
For years, Diana’s memory has remained deeply intertwined with the brothers’ relationship and their differing experiences of royal life.
Harry has repeatedly spoken about his mother, while William has generally maintained a more private approach to her legacy.
Birthday tribute or royal message?

On the surface, Meghan’s video was simply a loving birthday tribute to her husband.
The photographs celebrated Harry as a husband and father rather than as a prince.
But the choice of The Best, a song reportedly linked to Diana’s school-run memories, has given the tribute another layer of meaning.
For Meghan, it may have been an emotional way of reminding Harry of the family he lost and the family he has created with her.
Yet amid the Sussexes’ increasingly complicated relationship with the Palace, some observers may inevitably see something more pointed.
If Meghan really was signalling an alliance with the Spencers, the question is whether the gesture was intended simply as an act of love for Harry – or whether it also represented a subtle warning to King Charles.
Because with the Sussexes now back in Britain, even the most personal family gestures can become entangled in the much larger royal drama.
