Sirius XM presenter Meghan Kelly and her guest, Maureen Callaghan recently brutally slammed Meghan Markle as the Duchess feud with lifestyle TV icon Martha Stewart escalates. Homemaking guru Martha had recently shared that she overheard Meghan gossiping about her recent visit to the UK with Prince Harry including their meeting with King Charles. However, it was subsequently reported Meghan claimed the 85-year-old legend had got it wrong.
Meghan and Maureen both made it very clear they were on Martha’s side in the row as they discussed it on air. “Martha said she talked about it…She had just gotten back, and she talked about it, and that’s the comment in which she said it’s very hard to transition from a princess into a homemaking professional…not everybody can do it, and Martha doesn’t…spew s**t… she gives it straight,” Meghan observed. “Then the Duchess of Duplicity couldn’t stand it,” she continued.

“She seems to have got the host of the party to call up People Magazine and say that Martha’s account was simply untrue, and that Meghan did not talk about her European vacation, other than to say the family had a great time.
“Worse, they called Martha confused, implying that Martha…is a dotty old lady, and the position here is that this is incredibly stupid, writes Tom Sykes of the Daily Beast. Because Martha’s not going to take well to that, and though she may be 85, she’s [Martha] sharp as a tack, and this is not the way.
This could finally be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for social pariah Meghan, who already finds herself excluded from numerous guest lists. Some things are sacred in Hollywood, and Martha Stewart is one of them. By launching an attack on her, Meghan is attacking an American institution.

Maureen suggested Meghan could have an ulterior motive in clapping back at Martha, saying, “It is also kind of a nice distraction.

“This is a controversy I feel Meghan wants because she wants us to forget things that are very recent and and much more of an obscenity, such as taking a photo of Harry and the children on what looks like their way to visit Diana’s grave. Disgusting. 100% disgusting,” she raged.
If this is the case Meghan is taking a very big gamble. Martha has weathered many storms in her 60-year career and always come out on top. she has managed to consistently reinvent herself and stay relevant while others have fallen by the wayside.
She is the original influencer who could shape people’s buying habits long before the internet existed and is exactly the sort of person Meghan should be alinging herself with.
Instead she has chosen to publicly wage war with the beloved star – and it doesn’t take a genius to work out who Hoillywood will side with.
