Earl Spencer’s bombshell claims about King Charles have rocked the Firm.
Prince William was confronted about his uncle, Earl Spencer’s, bombshell book during a royal outing today. The Prince of Wales was arriving at ActOne, an independent, community-led cinema in Acton, west London, when reporters shouted, “How do you feel about your uncle’s book? and asked whether he has read it.
The awkward moment comes on the same day as the release of Earl Spencer’s memoir about his late sister, Diana, Princess of Wales. Swan Song: Diana, My Sister went on sale for the first time on Tuesday, with copies lining the windows of bookstores across the city, including in Waterstones Piccadilly, which is the largest in Europe.

Prince William has not made any public comments on the release of his uncle Earl Charles Spencer’s book “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister”.
His uncle claimed that he told William about the book, and that the contents of it will not be a “surprise” to him.
However, sources have suggested that the Prince of Wales is “furious” about the memoir and its contents, including accusations about his father King Charles.
The Palace released a statement last week, writing that grief can “cloud” memory.
William’s visit to the cinema in London today is intended to celebrate the richness and talent of the British film industry and the community spirit of independent UK cinemas.
During his visit this afternoon, William will meet the team behind ActOne and learn how they have made the cinema a vital hub for the local community, all while celebrating the British film industry.
The Prince will then meet some young filmmakers and creators from the local community, some of whom have been supported by ActOne in creating and releasing their films.
He’ll also meet representatives from the Film and TV charity, to discuss their work to improve access and inclusion within the British film industry, and support those working in the sector with their mental health and financial wellbeing.
