BREAKING NEWS: Prince William rejects public appearance with Harry
Prince William ‘refuses’ to appear publicly with Harry as brothers face fresh royal showdown

Prince William has reportedly drawn a hard line over his younger brother Prince Harry’s return to Britain, with the future King said to have no intention of sharing a public stage with the Duke of Sussex unless their deeply strained relationship changes behind closed doors.
Harry and Meghan Markle’s arrival in the UK on Wednesday, August 26, has reignited intense speculation about whether the brothers could finally put their differences aside.
But according to a source cited by RadarOnline.com, William is not prepared to turn Harry’s return into a carefully staged royal reunion.
The insider claimed the Prince of Wales remains deeply hurt and angry over what has happened between the Sussexes and the Royal Family.

“William’s position is that Harry choosing to live in Britain again does not suddenly repair their relationship,” the source reportedly said.
More significantly, William allegedly fears that appearing alongside Harry at an official engagement would instantly create a completely different story in the media.
A single photograph of the brothers standing together could be interpreted around the world as evidence that years of hostility had finally ended.
And that, the source suggested, is precisely what William does not want.
“He isn’t prepared to appear alongside him at engagements simply to create photographs suggesting otherwise,” the insider claimed.
The message is particularly striking because Harry’s return places the brothers geographically closer than they have been for years.
Yet physical distance appears to have been only one part of the problem.
The emotional divide between them remains enormous, with Harry’s public revelations about his family continuing to cast a long shadow over the relationship.
A royal expert reportedly argued that William believes appearing together publicly before resolving their private problems would be misleading.
“He believes sharing a public platform would immediately be interpreted as evidence that everything between them had been resolved,” the source said.
“From William’s perspective, that would be completely false.”
That apparent refusal could create another uncomfortable situation for King Charles.
The monarch has reportedly welcomed the prospect of having Harry, Meghan and his grandchildren back in Britain, raising hopes that their return could eventually provide an opportunity for reconciliation.
But William appears unwilling to follow his father’s approach.
Instead, the future King is reportedly insisting that any reconciliation must happen privately and genuinely before it is displayed to the public.
“Unless something changes substantially between them privately, he does not want to manufacture an image of reconciliation publicly,” the source added.
Harry and Meghan left Britain in 2020 after stepping down as senior working royals and subsequently established a new life in California.
Now, with Archie and Lilibet reportedly beginning their education in Britain, the Sussexes are once again entering the orbit of the Royal Family.
Their return could therefore force William and Harry into situations neither brother is ready to face.
For now, however, William’s alleged position appears unmistakable: no staged smiles, no convenient photographs and no pretending that years of bitterness have simply disappeared because Harry is back in Britain.
If the brothers are ever going to stand side by side again, it may have to begin far away from the cameras.
