Lara Spencer BREAKS SILENCE on FALSE RUMORS surrounding her split from ex-husband David Haffenreffer
Good Morning America co-anchor Lara Spencer, 45, and her husband, real estate broker David Haffenreffer, are calling it quits after nearly 15 years of marriage.
“After a lot of thought, care and consideration, we have decided to end our marriage,” Spencer says in a statement. “It’s a sad decision that did not come easily, especially because we respect and love each other and our children. They remain our top priority. We will raise them and care for them together.”
In other words, the split is amicable. They have two children — Kate, 10, and Duff, 13.
Spencer and Haffenreffer married in 2000, when she was a reporter for New York’s WABC and he was a contributor to CNN’s former morning show Ahead of the Curve.
Page Six reports that that couple, who live in Greenwich, Conn., are on vacation this week with the kids.
