Man held over Ann Widdecombe ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ was arrested in Rotherham
Police are continuing to investigate the alleged ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ of Ann Widdecombe on Monday. Detectives arrested a man aged 28 on suspicion of ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ of the former MP at the weekend. Officers investigating the alleged ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ of former Conservative MP and Reform UK’s immigration spokesperson said there is “nothing to suggest it was politically motivated”, adding that they are “not looking for anyone else” in connection with her death.
The former Conservative MP was found dead at her home in Dartmoor on Thursday, July 9. The suspect, a white British national, is now in police custody. This comes a day after police held a 26-year-old on suspicion of ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ, with the man later released. He was confirmed to no longer be a suspect. Devon and Cornwall Police Assistant Chief Constable, Matt Longman, has also urged against speculation. He said on Sunday: “I urge people not to share or engage with that speculation. Itโs unhelpful. It doesnโt aid our investigation, and particularly, itโs distressing to the family and friends of Miss Widdecombe.”
