SHOCK CONFESSION! Fans STUNNED as Amanda Holden Reveals She ‘D!ED’ and Was Put in a COMA After TERRIFYING HOSPITAL ORDEAL!

TV star Amanda Holden has emotionally revealed she died after giving birth to her daughter Hollie.

The 54-year-old BGT star has never shied away from sharing details of her personal life, and this time, she opened up about a particularly difficult moment with her best friend, Alan Carr. The duo, known for hosting their BBC renovation show, have often showcased their close bond on screen.

Amanda was visibly emotional as she revealed that she died and was put into a coma after giving birth to her daughter, Hollie, in 2012. As the latest episode of Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job came to an end, the pair shared a poignant and heartfelt moment on screen.

Earlier in the episode, the duo had been working in the courtyard when Amanda received unsettling news. Although she was a big fan of the vine in their property, it had unfortunately caused significant structural damage to the property and had to be removed. As the day came to a close, they relaxed with some Cava, quietly reflecting on the fragility of life and the inevitability of change.

Whilst lounging on fold-up camper chairs, Amanda admitted: “When you look at massive landscapes like this, it does put things into perspective. When you lose someone you believe, don’t you, that they’ve gone somewhere.

“I’m not particularly religious but I don’t believe it’s the end.” Amanda then went on to open up about the traumatic experience she went through while giving birth to her daughter, Hollie, who is now 12, which led to her falling into a coma and her heart stopping for 40 seconds.

“Without being too maudlin, I had a really difficult birth with Hollie. Which ended up with me in a coma, I died,” She said. “I was in intensive care and the baby was fine, and then when I came round and everything was alright, I never stopped thinking about death after that. I’m like, ‘Make every second count,’ literally.”

The TV presenter is married to her music producer husband Chris Hughes and they have two daughters: Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 12. Amanda previously opened up about the harrowing experience in her autobiography, revealing she pleaded with her husband Chris not to let her die.

She confessed: “Unbeknown to everyone, my placenta had attached itself to my bladder, and when they lifted it out, it snagged a large artery and ruptured it. I had haemorrhaged and was bleeding to death. I looked at Chris and said, ‘Don’t let me die’.”

The mum-of-two has returned to judging on Britain’s Got Talent alongside, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and KSI for its latest instalment. She has been known for rocking a number of racy outfits on the ITV talent show – but Amanda isn’t afraid of her fashion choices.

She told The Sun: “I haven’t even thought about my semi-finals outfits yet, but I constantly scroll through Instagram when I’m on car journeys and bombard my stylist with loads of ideas – it’s thigh splits and cleavage!”
