Prince Harry has Alison Hammond in hysterics in surprise This Morning appearance

However, time is running out for the rumoured reunion as Harry is set to depart on Sunday following the Invictus Games countdown launch in Birmingham.

Meghan, Archie and Lilibet might join Harry only for private family gatherings and not attend any public engagements, the Mirror reports.

There have been no sightings of the family besides Harry, and Meghan and the kids’ presence in the UK has not been officially confirmed.

Meghan was scheduled to join her husband at the Invictus one-year countdown event at Birmingham’s NEC today, but Harry was attending solo.

Metro has approached the Sussexes’ representative for a comment. Meghan’s spokesperson has previously declined to comment on the reports.

King Charles, 77, has met Archie, seven, only a few times before the Sussexes moved to the US.

The monarch, who has been undergoing cancer treatments after his 2024 diagnosis, has met Lilibet, five, only once during the June 2022 Jubilee.

The family’s trip to the UK was marked by security concerns after Harry’s protection level was changed when he stepped down as a working royal in 2020.

The Duke has been in a lengthy legal battle with the Home Office over the security arrangements decision, which saw him lose a Court of Appeal challenge last year.

He claimed in a BBC interview that Charles doesn’t speak to him because of the court case.

Harry said: ‘I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point and the things that they’re going to miss is, well, everything you know.’

The father and son met over tea in Clarence House in September last year when Harry was visiting the UK alone, the first time the pair had reunited in almost 20 months.

Prince Harry has hinted previously he wishes to reconcile with his father.

Harry has had a packed itinerary since he touched down in London alone on Monday, including visits to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and WellChild, a charity he is a patron of.
