Judy Finnigan celebrates 77th Birthday, fans Thrilled by ‘4 WORDS’ Richard Madeley WROTE on her Cake!

Judy Finnigan looked incredible as she celebrated her 77th birthday with family over the weekend.

The festivities were documented by daughter Chloe Madeley, 37, who shared a slew of rare snaps of her mother, who has retreated from the public eye in recent years.

Judy was dressed to impress for the occasion, showcasing her weight loss in a £126 floral Boden dress.

She was treated to balloons, flowers and a cake for her big day, as the family celebrated while out enjoying the sunshine in the garden.

Chloe captioned her post: ‘Rosé flowing with your chosen family ☀️ Happy birthday to my favourite woman in the world.’

And the birthday bash ended up being a two-day event, with Judy later seen in a flowing black top and trousers as they enjoyed another sunny day in the garden.

This time, Chloe’s two-year-old daughter Bodhi – who she shares with ex James Haskell – had brought her toy bunny along, with Richard and Judy – and their son Jack – dutifully posing with the toy on their head.

The group then headed out for a stroll, with Chloe capturing the moment Bodhi spotted her grandparents on a poster for Richard and Judy’s book club.

Earlier this year it was revealed that Richard and Judy are set to make a huge comeback together, years after their last joint venture.

While Judy has largely stepped away from the spotlight, Richard remains a regular face on This Morning.

Now, after years apart professionally, the duo hints at an exciting new project together.

The power duo might soon launch their own line of underwear, having trademarked their name for a variety of products, including fragrances, cosmetics, and more.

This week, the Intellectual Property Office published the application.

The couple originally trademarked ‘Richard and Judy’ in 2000 and renewed it late last year, paving the way for their latest business endeavour.

This bold move might have been inspired by Judy’s infamous wardrobe mishap at the 2000 National Television Awards, where she accidentally flashed her bra.

‘Judy’s bra flash was perhaps one of the outstanding moments of their career and may have inspired the couple to consider underwear as an option – and clearly they still think so,’ said an insider, as reported by the Mirror.

‘But it’s not the only product they’ll be able to put their name on and they could make a mint.’

The pair first met back in the Eighties while working at ITV Granada Television, before going on to tie the knot in 1986.

Richard and Judy recently reflected upon their relationship in their Channel 5 documentary, Our Best Bits – In Our Own Words, which aired in summer.

They spoke about the first time they met at Granada and the initial chemistry between them.

At the time Judy was wedded to journalist David Henshaw and Richard was in the midst of separating from his first wife Lynda.

Judy said: ‘I remember you coming into the newsroom on your first day, you were wearing a ridiculous sky blue suit… you just looked like a pr**.

‘I was assigned as your minder, they had a system at Grenada that the newbie would be assigned a father or a mother to show them the ropes literally, and I was your mother.’

Reminiscing, Richard said: ‘I suddenly felt two hands on the back of my neck and I heard this voice saying ”I’m your mummy” and I turned around and it was this beautiful blonde.

‘It seemed an off thing to say so I was like ”what??” So yeah she was my assigned mummy.’

Recently, Judy has been enjoying a new lease of life after losing five stone in 2018.

While she made headlines with her new look, daughter Chloe told MailOnline that her mother wasn’t even trying to lose weight and it all happened rather naturally.

At the time, Chloe said: ‘Her palette is changing as she’s getting older and I think she was always a kind of meat and potatoes kind of girl.

‘I actually haven’t had anything to do with it. ‘I was as surprised as anyone else when I opened the fridge on coming home on the weekend and saw superfood salads and soups, I thought, what the hell is going on!’

She added: ‘I have to say her diet is now amazing. Her palate has changed. She has got into sushi, raw fish and whole grain salad. She has dropped the pounds naturally.’
