The third Britain’s Got Talent live semi-final got under way on Saturday and presenter Ant McPartlin made a shocking reveal. The Geordie presenter, 49, took to the stage alongside pal Declan Donnelly.
As ever, the duo looked dapper in their tailored suits. But Ant made a surprise confession as he spoke to the judges. He revealed his outfit is the exact one he wore during Pop Idol series two.
Speaking to Simon Cowell and co, Ant said it was the same outfit he wore over 20 years ago. However, he did say, that it had been “let out” since then.

The show, which took place in 2003 and aired before the creation of The X Factor, was presented by the Geordie duo. The second series was won by Scottish singer Michelle McManus.

Britain’s Got Talent changed its scheduling this year and is now instead airing weekly shows, rather than daily semi-finals. Opening tonight’s show is the cast of Just For One Day – the musical which explores the backstage story of Live Aid, one of the biggest global music events in history, created by Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure OBE. Elsewhere, show champion Sydnie Christmas was ready to return to the stage.
Bruno Tonioli was in charge of the Golden Buzzer for the latest semi-final. Last week, winning the public vote, a shocked Stacey Leadbitter was awarded the final spot thanks to KSI’s golden buzzer.
She performed Demi Lovato’s hit Anyone and said after the announcement: “I can’t even explain it, thank you so much! Oh my God, I don’t have the words! Thank you so much for believing in me, it means everything to me.”
This week, Dance duo Harry and Lewis were first up to perform, before fans were keen on Albert Amores, 18, pleading for him to receive the automatic spot. However, it didn’t go their way.

He had wowed the judges this week with a “powerful performance” before Amanda told him he is like a “living work of art”.
Mickey Callisto also belted out Somebody to Love by Queen as he hoped to impress, but divided the judges.
Stacey and guitarist Olly Person will join the other Britain’s Got Talent finalists to see who will be crowned the overall winner. They will join the winners of week one – singer Vinnie McKee and dance group The Blackouts.
The Blackouts received the first ever live semi-final Golden Buzzer with a phenomenal dance routine which captured Amanda’s attention.
