Live on air, Robin Roberts couldn’t hide her impatience, bluntly urging colleague Sam Champion to ‘stop teasing’ and finally reveal the big news that had the whole studio holding its breath: Disney’s unexpected donation of 450,000 meals to those in need across America. The anchor warned Sam Champion to “stop teasing” her and her co-stars.

Sam then revealed the big news, sharing that “Disney is donating 450,000 meals to three food banks across the country.”

He added: “food insecurity is at its greatest right now,” and there might be budget cuts to food programs.

Abby Elliott said: “It’s just so special… New York is all about community.“

It was revealed that 1.3 million people are food insecure in New York City alone.

Robin appeared thrilled with Disney’s donation.

Meanwhile, GMA moved to their “sparkly new headquarters” at 7 Hudson Square.

The building is named after Disney CEO Bob Iger, and will be a “collaborative hub” for media, production, and innovation.
