The Princess of Wales will attend Wimbledon to watch the women’s singles final this afternoon. Catherine, who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, will present the trophy on Centre Court to the winner of the match between no 10 seed Karolina Muchova and No 9 seed Linda Noskova.

The all-Czech women’s final is expected to be interesting, as the players know each other so well. They’ve only played against each other once, but they practice together and were doubles partners at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Catherine will have a front row seat to the action in the Royal Box, marking the second time she has attended Wimbledon this year.

Upon arrival at Wimbledon, the princess is expected to have a short meet and greet with the players.

Catherine last attended Wimbledon last Thursday, when she watched Briton Arthur Fery play his second-round match against Otto Virtanen. He sadly bowed out in the semi-final last night.

She sat in the crowd alongside the chairwoman of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) Deborah Jevans and former British tennis number one, Tim Henman.

Their conversation was recorded for a special edition of Overheard at Wimbledon – a series shared on social media that captures audience comments and reactions during the tennis tournament.

The Princess of Wales said she has been “blown away” by the generous donations in support of her Three Peaks challenge, as she discussed preparations for hiking the UK’s highest mountains with the pair.

Catherine completed the gruelling climbs of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours at the end of June to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, where she received treatment in 2024.

Her aim was to “explore life beyond diagnosis” and told the former tennis star that doing the challenge for such a good cause “keeps you going through the hard times”.

Several pictures of her being greeted by her family, including her parents, her husband and three children, at the conclusion of the challenge have been shared by Kensington Palace.
