Isla Dawn was part of the WWE family for quite a long time but it all ended earlier this month after she confirmed the company had released her. While fans wonder what she will do next, Dawn has now hinted at changing up her character following her WWE departure.
Isla Dawn took to her Instagram and uploaded a video of herself, talking about how people often wait too long to share their true feelings. She said that many only express their emotions after someone is gone.
Dawn imagined people mourning her, calling her a champion and a star, saying she didn’t deserve what happened. While she agreed she didn’t deserve it, she admitted she needed it. Dawn described feeling like she was falling apart, overwhelmed by pressure, and close to breaking. But at that moment, something brought her back. Her heart had stopped, but she believed she was sent back because it wasn’t her time yet.
Dawn added that the White Witch was gone, and the Unholy Enchantress had been buried. The two-time tag team champion was now just ashes in an urn. Still, she made one thing clear—there was no reason to grieve. Isla Dawn was not dead yet, as she hinted at changing up her character after his WWE exit.
“One of the sad facts of life is that you won’t hear all the good things people have to say about you until you’re gone. Everyone bottles up their emotions, only to pour them out over your lifeless body—just a little too late.
‘Oh my God, I’m gonna miss her. Oh my God, she was a champion. She was a star. She did not deserve this.’
Did I deserve it? No. But I did need it. I was bleeding out. This was pressure. I was crashing. And this—this is what revived me. My heart stopped on the table, but someone down there sent me back up, knowing it was not quite my time.
The White Witch is gone. The Unholy Enchantress, buried in the grave. A two-time tag team champion—ashes in an urn. But don’t grieve for me. Isla Dawn is not dead yet.”
Dawn first gained attention in NXT UK, where she became a top talent in the women’s division. After NXT UK shut down in 2022, she moved to NXT and teamed up with Alba Fyre. Together, they won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships and after getting called up to the main roster, they even won the Women’s Tag Team Titles before eventually dropping it.
With Isla Dawn’s 90-day non-compete clause in place, all eyes are on Isla Dawn to see where she lands next, and what this new version of her character will look like. After all, the sky is the limit for Isla Dawn.
