BBC revives ‘I K1ssed A Boy’ – New season packed with Changes that thrill fans to the max!
An acclaimed BBC dating show is just day away from returning to screens as excited fans raved, ‘Finally, we’ve waited long enough!’
I K1ssed A Boy premiered back in 2023 and was the UK’s first ever dating programme exclusively for g@y singles.
Hosted by pop icon Dannii Minogue, who is returning to play cupid, the show will see eleven men looking for romance.
Like the last season, the singletons will be matched up and introduce themselves with a k1ss to see if there’s an instant connection.
The broadcaster has revealed the second series will launch on May 11 at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
Pop star Dannii previously expressed how thrilled she was to be returning to the show and said: ‘I am so excited that I’ll be back in Italy to play cupid. I can’t wait to meet the next cast when the Masseria doors open.

Excited fans raved over the announcement online and posted to X: ‘Can’t wait! Loved season 1! #IK1ssedABoy.’

While on Facebook others penned: ‘Yay!!!! So excited for the next season!!!!!!’
‘Love this show so much.’
Details on the new cast of singletons have been released including 27-year-old Adam from Reading.
The marketing and brand manager is ‘ready to find love again’ after his last serious relationship ended four years ago.
He has praised Dannii for being a ‘beacon of light’ who made him ‘feel so safe, seen and celebrated’.

Aron, from Croydon, says he is ‘beyond proud to be a part of IKAB. The show is quite literally history in the making’.
The 27-year-old civil servant and cheerleading coach added: ‘The experiences of queer people aren’t a monolith, and this show peels the layer to show the ways, and celebrate, our unique differences while also recognising the thing that unites us, our queerness.’
Administrator Callum describes himself as ‘chaotic, cheeky and strong minded’.
The 27-year-old from Hastings said: ‘I am so proud to be a part of the show, it’s so much more than just a dating show which is something I realised whilst actually being on it.
‘Younger me would have found navigating my sxuality so much easier if I had a show like IKAB to watch.’
While hospital pharmacist Jack D is a ‘self-confessed serial dater’ and is looking for someone to enjoy a ‘nice pastry and a pint with’.
The 26-year-old from Glasgow said: ‘Expect the unexpected is all I can say. Things changed by the hour in the messy massy, so you’ll be seeing a lot of drama.
‘Expect a lot of important conversations as well. But mainly, expect to see a group of queer guys having a verrrryyy g@y old time and having a laugh!’

Banking adviser Jack S, 22, from Wigan is looking for someone with a ‘good heart’ and said: ‘As cliched as it sounds, what I love the most about IKAB is the friendships I’ve made.
‘I’ve got proper cool queer mates now who I wouldn’t change for the world. I won.’
27-year-old Jas from Glasgow moved to London after completing his degree and said: ‘I K1ssed a Boy is so much more than just k1sses and I’m glad to have shared my story on such an amazing platform. Representation is and always will be important.’
He described his wedding plans and added: ‘I want a Punjabi wedding! Once you commit, you commit. My parents have done the same.’
Retail store manager Jordan B, 25, moved from life on the family farm in the Lake District to Manchester.
He said: ‘One thing that’s always guaranteed with Danni is that she will serve you a look to start, a twist for main, but love for dessert.
‘Danni was like a fairy godmother that helped us all try to find love on a path that’s anything but straight. She’s an icon and I love her.’
While 27-year-old Jordan R from Leeds has never had a serious boyfriend or fallen in love.

He said: ‘I K1ssed a Boy is not just a dating show. It’s where topics are discussed and addressed and represented by people who have lived through different challenges within their queer lives.’
Hotel receptionist Lars, 23, is a hopeless romantic and the first trans person to be on the show.
Lars said: ‘I K1ssed a Boy isn’t just the fun reality TV show that we all know and love – it is a celebration of queer love in all its forms.
‘And I am honestly so proud to be the first trans person on the show.
‘Growing up, I never saw stories like mine reflected on screen, so to be a part of something that embraces and normalises LGBTQ+ relationships means the absolute world to me.
‘It’s messy, it’s joyful, it’s real and it is exactly the kind of representation we need.’
While 22-year-old Rory from Ireland commented: ‘Being so self-critical and ashamed of my sxuality as a teenager in Ireland, going onto I K1ssed a Boy was such a full-circle moment for me and my emotional development, and I got to do it alongside a bunch of hotties! J’adore.’

A 24-year-old artist and designer from London, Ruben’s first serious relationship ended three years ago.
He has remained single ever since and is hoping to leave the show with a boyfriend.
Ruben said: ‘What I loved most about my time in the masseria is that the world is built for straight people, but I got to live in a world built for g@y people!
‘Experiencing g@y fantasy land where you can feel safe and comfortable to express yourself in any way you want is something I would recommend to any member of the alphabet army.’
