BREAKING NEWS: Prince Harry ‘desperate’ to rejoin Royal Family – ‘find a way back’

A controversial royal author has claimed Prince Harry will be “desperate” to “find a way back to England” after the disaster of his return to the UK this week. Even before he arrived back in his home country, the Duke of Sussex’s visit was overshadowed by a chaotic back-and-forth over whether he would stay at Buckingham Palace.
Then, on Tuesday, attention shifted to Harry’s monumental loss when all 14 of his claims against the publisher of the Daily Mail were dismissed by the High Court. Given the Duke’s personal crusade to hold the press accountable ended in disastrous fashion this week, investigative biographer Tom Bower, who released his book, Betrayal: Power, Deceit And The Fight For The Future Of The Royal Family, earlier this year, has taken aim at the Duke’s next steps.

Speaking after the verdict was published, Mr Bower told the Daily Express: “In the last year, I’ve thought that Harry’s desperate. He’s desperate because he’s got no role, he’s desperate because they’re running out of money.
“He’s desperate to find a way back to England somehow, to reestablish himself as a working, hardworking royal. I think Meghan encouraged him to do that because she’s run out of roads, too.” Mr Bower’s comments come after the Mirror reported that Harry is said to be “frantically” trying to secure additional private security to travel with his family. A royal source told the paper: “While nothing has been ruled out, conversations remain ongoing.”

Another source added: “The King would not pass up the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, and if there is a way of making it possible, he will do it.”

It was originally reported that Prince Harry and Meghan hoped to return to the UK together and take their children to meet their grandfather, as they have not seen him since 2022, when they visited for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
However, after the shock back-and-forth over Harry’s stay at Buckingham Palace, with claims that the invitation was “withdrawn” at the last minute, it was decided that Meghan and the couple’s children would stay in Europe, where it is thought they are at their holiday home in Portugal.
It was also suggested that the pair had planned to stay with Harry’s uncle, Charles, Earl Spencer, Diana, Princess of Wales’s brother, at his family home, Althorp House, in Northamptonshire, as the home is mysteriously closed to the public between July 10 and 11.
Mr Bower made his comments after he was the subject of an explosive statement from the Sussexes following the release of his latest book, Betrayal: Power, Deceit And The Fight For The Future Of The Royal Family, earlier this year.
Claiming that the author has “long crossed the line from criticism into fixation”, the statement began: “This is someone who has publicly stated, ‘the monarchy in fact depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life,’ language that speaks for itself.
“He has made a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met. Those interested in facts will look elsewhere; those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him.”
