Meghan Markle has offered a sweet reflection on her own motherhood journey after meeting Pia Toscano, who is currently expecting her first child. Speaking with Page Six, singer Pia revealed that she’d crossed paths with the duchess at The David Foster Foundation’s 40th anniversary celebrations in Victoria, Canada, last Friday.
Following her performance at the star-studded event, Pia recalled meeting with guests, Meghan, and Prince Harry, who congratulated her on her pregnancy with a hug. Noting that the As Ever founder had touched her stomach, Pia revealed Meghan’s sentimental remark. “This is the most beautiful time of your life,” the Suits star reportedly told her. Pia also commended Harry for thoughtfully moving a chair for her.

Proud parents, Meghan and Harry share Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, with whom they reside in Montecito, California. In a recent interview for InStyle, the mum-of-two was asked what her superpower is. “Being a mum,” mused, adding, “I feel like we have superpowers because we juggle it all and enjoy it all with grace and grit at the same time.”
In another touching moment, Meghan was quizzed about the things in life that make her feel brave. “Every day, when I feel a little bit like, ‘Oh gosh, can I do this?’ I go: ‘Lili would do it,'” she said.

While Meghan prefers to keep her children away from the spotlight, the 45-year-old has spoken about her personal experiences as a parent. “I love being a mum so much – it’s my favourite thing,” she said on her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast.
“It is the thing where you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, I just need a break, I just need a minute, I just need a minute.’ And the second that you step into the room, you go… ‘Let me scroll through pictures of them endlessly on my phone.’
“My husband is like, ‘My love, can you just give yourself a minute? Why don’t you go work out? Why don’t you go take a bath?’ I’m like, ‘I know, but I just want to cuddle.’ It’s the parenting paradigm where it is so full on and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
