CONGRATULATIONS! Strictly star announces baby news just days before BBC show
Strictly Come Dancing star Will Best has announced he is expecting his first child just days before making his debut on the BBC dancefloor.
The Big Brother presenter, 41, shared the happy news on Instagram on Thursday as excitement builds ahead of Saturday’s Strictly launch show.
Will posted a collection of photographs under the caption “Summer Dump”, but one picture in particular quickly caught fans’ attention.
The presenter could be seen posing alongside his fiancée Tobi Rose while gently cradling her growing baby bump.
Tobi wore a matching outfit that showed off her pregnancy, while Will placed his hand on her stomach as they smiled for the camera.
He teased the announcement with the playful caption: “Baby, Will?!”

Will Shares Sweet Pregnancy Photos
Another photograph showed a closer view of Tobi’s baby bump with Will’s hand resting on it.
He added a pink heart emoji to match the colour of Tobi’s jacket.
The final clue came in the form of a photograph showing a tiny pair of baby shoes designed to look like teddy bears.
The announcement immediately prompted a flood of congratulatory messages from Will’s famous friends.
Fleur East wrote: “Ahhhhh! So exciting!! Can’t wait for you to join the parent club. Congratulations to you and Tobi. You will be amazing parents.”
Former Strictly professional Oti Mabuse added: “Heyyyyyy congratulations, so happy for you.”
AJ Odudu revealed she had already known about the pregnancy and recalled becoming emotional when Will first shared the news privately.
“I’ll never forget the day I cried tears of joy in the street when you told me. BABY ON BOARD,” she wrote.
New Strictly host Johannes Radebe also sent his congratulations, simply saying: “Congrats again.”

Big Year Ahead for Will and Tobi
Will and Tobi have been together for more than a decade and became engaged in 2024 during a romantic trip to Tuscany.
Now, the couple are preparing for an even bigger milestone as they get ready to become parents for the first time.
According to a source quoted by The Sun, the pair are “overjoyed” by the pregnancy.
“Will and Tobi are overjoyed and he can’t wait to become a dad,” the source said.
However, the timing means Will could be facing one of the busiest periods of his career.
He is preparing to balance Strictly Come Dancing commitments with his role on Big Brother, while also getting ready for the arrival of his first child.
The source added: “He already had a busy winter juggling Strictly and Big Brother, but now it’s got a whole lot more complicated.”
Baby Could Arrive During Strictly Run
Tobi is reportedly due before Christmas, meaning there is a possibility Will could receive the call while still taking part in Strictly rehearsals.
“There is every chance he has to race away from rehearsals to be with her,” the source claimed.
That could make this year’s Strictly experience particularly memorable for the presenter.
Will is one of the celebrities joining the 2026 line-up and will appear in Saturday’s launch show as the contestants discover which professional dancers they have been paired with.
He is also expected to speak about the pregnancy during the programme.

Strictly Debut Comes Days After Huge Personal News
The timing of the announcement means Will will step onto the Strictly dancefloor with far more than just the competition on his mind.
In the coming months, he will be learning new routines, appearing on live television and preparing for fatherhood at the same time.
For now, though, the presenter appears to be enjoying the excitement surrounding both major developments.
His celebrity friends have already made clear how thrilled they are for him and Tobi, while fans will soon get their first proper look at Will’s Strictly journey when the BBC series returns.
With a new baby on the way and one of television’s biggest entertainment shows about to begin, 2026 is shaping up to be a life-changing year for Will.
