The former Love Island star revealed yesterday that she was forced out of the competition after she fractured her ankle.

Dani confirmed the news with an emotional statement, saying she was “heartbroken” to be leaving the process, just days before the first live show.
And now Nikita, 27, has shared his devastation in a touching tribute post.
The professional dancer said Dani’s early exit has “broken his heart” as he posted a series of snaps from their time in rehearsals together.
He wrote: “So so gutted to have finished our journey before it even properly started.
“The amount of laughs and fun we had in this short time was unbelievable.
“Really loved our partnership and hope that one day we can actually get to week 1 lol but, heath is the most important thing.
“I’m wishing you the absolute best Dani, you’re so lovely, positive and a wonderful human being. And it breaks my heart knowing how excited you were to do your absolute best on the show!”
Although Dani is out of the competition this year, Nikita teased: “Hopefully we can pick up next year.
“Love from #danita or #dakita or #Nani (WE ACTUALLY HAVENT DECIDED ON THE TEAM NAME IN TIME).”
TV reality star Dani, 29, was quick to respond to the sweet message.

She posted: “I’m crying again. Thank you for being the best teacher ever.. you are the kindest most amazing person.

The pair were set to perform the quickstep on Saturday’s first live show.
But yesterday it was revealed that Dani has had to leave the show following a painful injury in training last Friday.
Dani said she was forced to withdraw after doctors told her she’d be unable to dance.
The statement read: “I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny.
“I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.”
Dani continued: “Apparently doing the Quickstep on a fracture is not advisable and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance, so I’ve had to pull out of the show.
“To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement.
“I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.”
Just days ago Dani shared her nerves ahead of the live shows.
She said last week: “I’m absolutely petrified about dancing live on Saturday nights.”
Speaking to The Sun about her upcoming Strictly adventure, she was asked if her famous dad Danny Dyer was going to watch – and if he would get emotional.
The mum-of-three revealed: “He’s going to. He will try and keep it together. Him and my mum are making a little date day of it.
“They’re coming on the launch show together. They’re really excited.”

Prince Harry and King Charles made headlines earlier this month when the father-and-son met up for the first time since February 2024. The monarch, 76, invited his son Harry, 41, to enjoy a private tea at his Clarence House home, which lasted just shy of an hour.

During their visits to the schools, William and Kate spent time talking to students and teachers about their work and how the school community has remembered the victims of the awful attack. The royal couple also spoke to students about other topics, including general school life.
While William and Kate keep their own children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, as private as possible, the future King did speak about one subject his children talk about “a lot.”

The 65-year-old has now come under fire over new revelations involving the publication of an email that she allegedly sent to Jeffrey Epstein following his release from jail on child sex offences.
The latest revelations showed emails exchanged between Sarah and the late convicted sex offender in 2011. Sarah can be seen issuing an apology for disassociating herself from her “supreme friend” when it had emerged that he had bailed her out financially.
A spokesperson said that Sarah had only sent the emails after Epstein – who took his own life in prison in 2019 – made threats to sue her.

Prince Andrew was spotted at Westminster Cathedral for the Catholic funeral of the late Duchess of Kent on September 16. The royal’s appearance came as a a surprise as the 65-year-old now keeps a low profile after a host of scandals in the past few years.
The royal, who had a past association with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was spotted engaging in conversation with various royals, including Prince William. Although the event was a private family event, it was still held somewhat in the public eye, leading fans to question Andrew’s appearance.
In a poll conducted by the Express, which ran between 10am on September 19 and 8.15am on September 24, 6,132 casted a vote on whether they think Andrew should be invited to any royal events.
A staggering 5,026 shared that they don’t think he should be invited to any – including private events.

Princess Anne hailed the benefits of a boarding school education yesterday, as she sought to reassure naval families who often enrol their children into them. The King’s sister, 75, who boarded at Benenden School in Kent for five years as a teenager, said the experience brings “stability” and makes children’s lives easier.
During a visit to the Naval Children’s Charity (NCC), for which she became patron in March, she said: “One of the charities I’m doing puts children into boarding schools, and the thing they always say is that it gives them stability.” The Princess Royal added: “ I think that’s true for a lot of people, that level of stability, because otherwise it leaves gaps in your life which are difficult to manage.”

Royal fans were delighted this week after Princess Kate made a new appearance in Southport. The Princess of Wales joined her husband, the Prince of Wales, as they visited the schools of the girls who were killed in the Southport attack last year.

Meghan Markle’s former best friend Jessica Mulroney could reportedly be “biding her time” when it comes to spilling the beans on their fallout, sources have claimed. Canadian stylist Jessica Mulroney, who was very close to Meghan and also her chief bridesmaid on her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, has reportedly been offered an advance of more than £742,000 ($1million) to publish her own bombshell account of their friendship.

Prince Harry ‘like a brother’ to Ukrainians after visits supporting Kyiv’s war wounded
A Ukrainian paramedic once held captive by Russian forces described Prince Harry as “amazing” after meeting him in the war-torn country. The Duke of Sussex has visited Ukraine twice this year, including earlier this month when he was invited by the Kyiv government and a centre that treats amputees wounded in the conflict.
Yuliia “Taira” Paievska, who was held as a prisoner of war by Russia after being captured during the siege of Mariupol in 2022, said Harry’s support for Ukraine is “invaluable”. The prince said he wanted to do “everything possible” to help the thousands of seriously wounded Ukrainian military personnel after travelling to Kyiv and Lviv with a team from his Invictus Games Foundation. Taira said the Duke is “very supportive” of Ukraine after meeting him at the Superhumans Centre, a rehabilitation clinic in Lviv, western Ukraine, in April.

Perrie reveals ‘worst part’ of losing her baby at 24 weeks pregnant
Speaking to Glamour, Perrie revealed that the news shocked them as it “came out of nowhere”.
She said: “It felt like it came out of nowhere. Every scan before had been fine. We just weren’t expecting to go into the 22-week scan and for our world to just crumble.”
But it was a few days later when Perrie experienced the “worst part” of losing her baby, as her body still was preparing for having a child.
She emotionally revealed: “A few days later, I remember being in the shower and my milk came in. I remember just going out of the room like ‘Mam!’ and she was like, ‘What? What’s happened?’ and I was like ‘I’ve got milk!’
“I just wasn’t expecting it. I was devastated. That was the worst bit. My body was prepared for the baby. But the baby was gone.”

Perrie and Alex have been together since 2016 after initially meeting on the Celebrity dating app, Raya. And since then, their relationship has only gotten stronger.
But when they experienced their heartbreaking baby loss, pregnant Perrie Edwards admitted Alex struggled with not being able to do anything.
However, it was “him just being there” by her side which actually made it “so much better” for the singer.
Perrie admitted that every time she would ask Alex if he was “okay”, he would tell her “‘It’s not about me’”. But Perrie revealed she would make sure he knew that “both went through it”.
She explained: “He’s very like that with emotions. He just tries to suck it up and move on. But I could see that he was traumatised about it. I think he just wanted to try and be strong for me.”

The 27-year-old added: “I’m wishing you the absolute best @danidyerxx. You’re so lovely, positive and a wonderful human being!! And it breaks my heart knowing how excited you were to do your absolute best on the show! Hopefully we can pick up next year.”
The final part of his comment indicated that he and Dani might be able to take part in the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing—however, the BBC has not confirmed this.
Dani, who is the daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer, announced she was pulling out of Strictly on Tuesday evening, with the news leaving her supporters gutted.
She wrote: “I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny. I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle. Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show. Clearly flattered by the remark, the outspoken Big Brother star retweeted the post and cheekily penned: “Phone is on loud all day.”
