A royal commentator has explained why she thinks Prince Harry is so keen on returning to the UK, despite relocating his life to America and stepping away from royal life. It has been reported that the Duke of Sussex, 41, wants to visit London “every few months” following his reunion with King Charles. He was hosted at Highgrove alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, last month, marking the first time in more than four years that King Charles had been reunited with his grandchildren.
Reacting to the reports, Kinsey Schofield claimed that Prince Harry has now realised just how important the Royal Family is to his brand. “He spent years telling us Britain was basically unbearable. Now suddenly he wants to come back every few months,” she told News24 host Rita Panahi.

“It’s amazing how much more attractive the Royal Family becomes when Hollywood stops returning your calls.”
She added: “I think Harry has finally realised that his royal connection is not an inconvenience to his brand – it is his brand.”
Rita added that it will be interesting to see if Prince William will accept his brothers olive branch if he chooses to send one. However, a reconciliation between the brothers seems extremely unlikely, with reports now claiming that Prince William will “never forgive” his younger sibling.

The brothers have been at loggerheads for years, and their fractured relationship only derailed further after Harry stepped away from his role as a senior working royal in 2020.
Royal expert Phil Dampier told the Daily Mail: “Friends tell me that, as far as he is concerned, Harry is the past, and he is only concerned about the future for his wife, Catherine, and their children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
“He will never forgive Harry, in my opinion, not just for leaving the Royal Family, but for the dirt he dished out in his book Spare, the Netflix show, and the Oprah Winfrey interview.”
Their rift appears so deep that TalkTV presenter Mark Dolan is convinced that William is waiting until he becomes King so he can take “serious action” against Harry.
Speaking on News24 earlier this month, he said: “William does not consent to this return to the royal fold. Why? Because William has a memory, he’s got common sense, he’s got a heart and he cares about the monarchy.
“What you’re looking at with William, he’s the barrier to Harry properly returning, but he hasn’t got the King’s power because Charles is the head of the family.”
He added: “It’s only when William becomes King that we’ll see some serious action against Harry.”
