Jimmy Kimmel called out Donald Trump over his attack on Taylor Swift following the Super Bowl at the weekend.
Swift had a bit of a tough evening at Super Bowl LIX – getting booed heartily by the fans in attendance, facing the wrath of President Trump on social media, and then watching boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs suffer a humiliating defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.
And the President in particular appeared to take satisfaction in the stadium’s booing of the pop star when she was shown on the jumbotron, aiming a jab at the ‘Fortnight’ singer on Truth Social.
But during the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, late-night host Kimmel came out swinging for Swift as he defended her against the ‘jealous’ Commander-in-Chief.
‘She didn’t get booed out of the stadium,’ Kimmel began, addressing Trump’s false claim. Swift did, in fact, stay for every miserable second of the Chiefs’ defeat.
‘Unlike you, she stayed for the whole game — and it was the Eagles fans who were booing her,’ he continued. ‘But you’re right, it’s all about you.’

‘Trump’s just jealous of Taylor Swift because she has more followers and more money and no kids than he does,’ he added.
With the stadium seemingly boasting more Philadelphia Eagles fans than members of Chiefs Kingdom, Swift did not get a nice reception when cameras zoomed in on her before the carnage unfolded.
The 35-year-old singer appeared to notice the booing, giving a mocking side-eye response as the noise mercilessly rang out around the packed stadium.
On Sunday night, after the game had ended, among his complaints about the showdown, Trump – who had left the game early – decided to twist the knife.
‘The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!,’ the President wrote.
Earlier in the week, Kelce said that he was ‘a great honor’ to have Trump there – which may have come as a surprise considering Trump repeatedly bashed Swift in public after she supported his opponent, former Vice President Kamala Harris.
In September, Trump said he hates Taylor Swift after the pop star endorsed Harris.
‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!’ the former president lamented on his social media website Truth Social on Sunday.

The Commander-in-Chief twisted the knife by mocking her on social media afterwards
It came just five days after Swift said in a lengthy Instagram post that she would be voting for Harris in November. However, she did not attack or call out Trump personally.
She also encouraged her millions of followers to do their research on the election and register to vote with a link she shared of vote.gov on her Instagram story sharing her grid post.
Trump and Swift were nominally on the same side Sunday, however, as he had predicted that the Chiefs will win their third straight Super Bowl on Sunday.
He apparently had given up on his prediction that the Chiefs would beat the Eagles, leaving shortly after halftime.
