On Wednesday a first look trailer was revealed of the upcoming three-part docuseries, which will be released on Netflix on October 9.

GMB‘s entertainment editor Richard Arnold, 55, brought it up during his segment, but before he got into it all, co-star Richard Madeley gave his opinion on it all.

Richard Madeley asked his colleagues: ‘Can I be honest here?

‘I’m not sure how many more documentaries about the Beckhams I can stand…’

Susanna asked: ‘Was one too much?’

‘Hey?’ Richard replied. ‘I’m just, is there any more that we need to learn about them?’

Richard Arnold asked: ‘Shall I get my coat?’

Some viewers were shocked with his comments, with one writing on X, formerly known as Twitter: ‘Richard Madeley needs to apologise to @victoriabeckham for saying there are too many documentaries about her.

‘Shameful comment and completely against public opinion. We’ve all seen enough of you Richard Madeley, how about you get off TV instead.’

‘But either way, utterly disrespectful and wrong to be inserting his own distaste of someone who shares a similar goal of garnering a fan base.’

Richard Arnold said: ‘The much anticipated, apart from Richard, is a follow on from 2023’s massive hit Beckham, following the life of David and Victoria.

‘Now we’re got a glimpse into Victoria’s life in this three-part series.

‘We follow Victoria in the build up to the hugely stressful fashion show, with interview and archive, we follow the Spice Girls, from when she used to style her school uniform, right up to designing her own label.

‘This is though the clothing designer is laid pretty much bare in this.

This isn’t the first time that the famous clan have appeared on the streaming service.

They starred in the four-part docuseries Beckham in 2023.

Victoria broke down in tears over her business woes in the first look trailer.

The fashion designer is letting the cameras into her life in a new project from the makers of Beckham and Michelle Obama’s Becoming, following the success of husband David’s docuseries.

The documentary is set to detail the struggles Victoria had with her eponymous fashion brand, with Victoria recalling her business being ‘millions in the red’, while David confessed the debt ‘panicked’ him.

Yet Victoria insisted family are her main priority in life, stating simply in the trailer as she wept: ‘I want my kids and David to be proud of me’.

The trailer ends with David consoling his crying wife by declaring: ‘You could make a cheese and ham toasted sandwich and we’d be proud of you.’

Victoria then quipped back: ‘Let’s be honest I couldn’t actually make a cheese sandwich very well.’

Meanwhile the star sported a huge bouffant in previously unseen throwback photos in her new Netflix doc.

She looked worlds away from herself as she sported a fringe and long curly brunette tresses, a far cry from her perfectly trimmed iconic long bobbed do.

She was seen in school dancing on stage wearing a yellow leotard and skirt as she beamed to the camera while performing.
