Love Island’s Chris Hughes has been tipped as this years favourite to win Celebrity Big Brother after his clash with Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke on Saturday.

The TV personality, 32, has become a huge fan-favourtie since entering the iconic house on Monday.

Revealing the current odds, Coral Bookmakers’ statistics show the former Islander is the favourite to win with the odds of 5/4.

The runner up tipped drag star Danny Beard as the odd for his chances have been predicted as 7/2.

JoJo Siwa, the youngest member in the house, 21, is then set to the runner-up as she was placed with the odds 7/2.

The odds favouring Chris come as he was involved in Mickey’s latest controversy, which saw the Hollywood star kicked out of the Big Brother house.

A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother said on Saturday night: ‘Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.’

It is believed that Mickey used behaviour and language that was considered to be threatening and aggressive on Saturday.

This behaviour was directed towards fellow housemate Chris. No physical altercation took place.

Chris had comforted former the Dance Moms star, 21, in Wednesday’s episode after Mickey spoke about her sexuality and said he would ‘vote the lesbian out real quick’.

Earlier on Saturday MailOnline reported that Celebrity Big Brother fans were convinced Mickey was planning to quit the show after spotting one major clue.

During Friday evening’s episode former Tory MP Michael Fabricant became the first housemate to be evicted after receiving the most nominations from his fellow contestants.

After the result was announced, the politician said his goodbyes before exiting to a mix of boos and cheers, where he was greeted by hosts AJ Odudu, 37, and Will Best, 40.

However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed Mickey, 72, seemingly attempting to make a sly exit alongside him.

Convinced the Hollywood star was desperate to leave, fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their suspicions.

One wrote: ‘Mickey wants out so bad, he keeps saying how he wants to leave first and when that guy was kicked he pretended to leave with him.’

However those watching slammed the result, branding Mickey a ‘homophobe’ after he left dancer JoJo, 21, in tears after he insinuated he would be able to ‘make her straight’ during their time in the house and branded her a ‘f*g’.

Mickey asked Chris if everyone had to vote one another out of the house as the Wrestler star confessed: ‘I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.’

JoJo overheard as she hit back: ‘That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.’

Defending JoJo, Chris interjected, ‘You can’t do that Mickey,’ yet the star was undeterred as he added: ‘I need a f*g’ before gesturing to JoJo and adding: ‘I’m not talking to you.’

Viewers demanded ‘vile’ Mickey be removed from the house after his comments towards JoJo.

But JoJo has since been hailed ‘the people’s princess’ by viewers after how she handled the horrific situation, which saw Mickey make repeated homophobic and misogynistic comments towards her.

They wrote: ‘Jojo Siwa is really great, isn’t she? A mature, smart, young woman,’;

‘The way jojo was nothing but kind to that man when she had every opportunity to tell him to shut the f*** up,’;

Meanwhile, Mickey sparked further backlash earlier in Friday’s episode after a blunt comment left EastEnders star Patsy Palmer in tears.

The housemates were gathered around the kitchen table enjoying lunch prepared by the actress, 52, when the actor criticised her cooking.

He swiped: ‘What do you know, you can’t cook.’

While she initially laughed it off, Patsy soon headed to the diary room to let off some steam to Big Brother.

‘Sorry,’ she said before breaking down into tears. ‘I tried to talk that one out but it didn’t really work. I feel like I let myself down there and I don’t want my reactions to be like that.

‘I always want my kids to always stand up for themselves. Maybe it was just a joke – maybe I need to look at it like that.’

‘I need to try to rise above it. It doesn’t mean I have to like him,’ she added.
