Adam Schefter is one of the top football analysts in the world, and his reputation is up there with some of the top dogs in sports. Because he is so respected, NFL fans listen to him, and some recent suggestions he may have made excite fans.

The NFL is the top football league in the world, and of course, with the game comes the business, which is one of the most challenging aspects of the sport. It has been quite the off-season and according to Schefty, things could get a little more crazy.

So far this off-season, the trade market has seen a few big names move cities, and of course, along with those big names (namely Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil among others), some picks were traded, but none were that significant.

On Monday, Adam Schefter posted to X, saying, “So far, there have been no trades involving 1st-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. This is the closest to the start of the NFL Draft in which there have been no trades for 1st-round picks since 1993, when five days before that year’s Draft, the Chiefs traded a first-round pick to the 49ers in exchange for QB Joe Montana, per ESPN’s @EpKap.”

While nothing has yet to be confirmed, NFL fans are speculating in the comment section that the NFL analyst could possibly be hinting at a huge forthcoming trade. Could we see a huge trade involving some first-round picks?

“Either teams are really confident in their spots, or we’re in for some last-minute chaos,” said one user.

“What do you mean by this, Adam,” questioned another user.

“Something tells me, come draft day this tune will change,” predicted another.

“There will be, to many major holes not to be,” said another user.

Fans are going to be keeping an eye on some possible huge movements for the upcoming April 24th draft in Green Bay, as it does indeed seem like Schefter is hinting at something huge. Who really knows what will come next, but odds are Adam Schefter will break the news.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter ruthlessly called out veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers for dragging on his free agent decision.

The Jets officially released Aaron Rodgers from his contract on Wednesday, making the four-time MVP a free agent for the first time in his career. Most big-named free agents agreed to deals with new teams in the days leading up to the official league new year, but Rodgers has been in zero rush to make a decision.

Rodgers has already spoken with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants, with other reports tying him to the Minnesota Vikings.

Like so many fans, Adam Schefter is frustrated with Rodgers dragging out the announcement on his future. Speaking on the “Jen, Gabe & Chewy” podcast, Schefter questioned why Rodgers hasn’t made a decision yet:

“To me, this shouldn’t be that hard, right? Like, the Steelers want you. The Giants want you. We’re seeing players across the league make decisions. It shouldn’t be that hard. Either you want to play or you don’t. You want to play in Pittsburgh or you don’t.

You want to play in New York or you don’t. Like, Chewy, what’re you going to have for lunch? You gonna make a decision or are you gonna drag it out for four days, five days, a week? It’s not that hard. Make a decision and live with it.”

This is out of character for Schefter, or any major sports insider, for that matter. But we’ll go ahead and guess that Schefter’s shot at Aaron Rodgers has to do with their past beef.

You may recall that in 2023, Rodgers went through a phase where he called out NFL insiders like Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapooprt. Rodgers said he told Schefter to “lose my number”, and the latter provided proof on the matter:

Perhaps Adam Schefter, like so many others, has just grown tired of the never-ending headlines surrounding Rodgers. And we’re sure Schefter is getting bombarded with questions on A-Rod’s decision, which obviously wouldn’t help matters.

Aaron Rodgers Can Still Play At A High Level

As awful as the Jets were in 2024, Rodgers certainly didn’t play like someone who’s experiencing a deep decline. Despite playing behind a terrible offensive line, and despite a dysfunctional mid-season coaching change, Rodgers threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions.
