This Morning suffered a string of live blunders on Friday – including power outages and video player fails.
At one point, host Dermot O’Leary resorted to smacking the studio light in a desperate bid to get the power back on.
Dermot and Alison Hammond, 49, had just returned from an advert break, with the pair were dancing along to a song when the Brummy presenter pointed out that the pillar behind them wouldn’t light up.
Alison then giggled to the camera crew: ‘It’s got no lights in it!’
Dermot then went over to the pillar and hit it with his hand as Alison asked: ‘What’s happened to it?!
‘Oh babes, it’s falling apart! What are you doing?!’

The presenter and co-star Alison Hammon apologised to viewers for the blunder
Alison then gave it a stern tap and concluded: ‘No… it’s not working. Can we plug it in please?’
Dermot had his back to the camera and then gave it a stern kick in a bid to get it working again.
Finalle he turned around and sighed under his breath: ‘Terrible!’
The pair then apologised to the viewers for the huge blunder.
Alison said: ‘Sorry for the unlit pillar!’
The former Big Brother star asked if they could move over to the other one, which was just off camera, but someone behind the scenes said no.
However, that wasn’t the only live technical blunder they suffered on Friday.
‘Talking of TV shows not to be missed, take a look at this…’ Dermot said as they expected a trailer to play out on our screens.

However the two just stood there awkwardly in silence for a few moments.
Alison then mimed to those watching at home: ‘It’s coming…’ before repeating herself out loud.
She added: ‘There’s no sound babes. Let’s just tell them all about it.’
Dermot then said: ‘Take a look at this!’ and it magically appeared.
After Martin Clunes’ trailer for Out There played out, Alison described him as ‘magical’.
Dermot confessed: ‘Sometimes it’s just about dramatic timing.’
Elsewhere in the show, Ferne McCann looked amazing as she showed off her glam new hair ahead of her Dancing On Ice debut.
The former TOWIE star is taking part in this year’s series of the ITV show – which premieres this Sunday.
