Alison Hammond posed for new snaps as she showed off her huge weight loss after explaining how she shed 11 stone without dieting

Alison Hammond has opened up on her impressive weight loss and explained how she managed the feat without dieting. The popular This Morning host 50, looked amazing as she shared a series of snaps on social media.

Sharing the dazzling appearance on Instagram, Alison has also confessed her new look wasn’t diet to a dietary fad. She previously explained how embarked on her new healthier lifestyle after receiving a receiving a pre-diabetic diagnosis.

She opted to work with a personal trainer following the diagnosis and said she began to eat everything “in moderation”. Alison had previously revealed she weight 28-stone at her heaviest. But her transformation came as she hired a person trainer.

Speaking to Heat, the presenter said: “I’ve got a personal trainer – she’s amazing, she trains me when I can train. If I’m working, I don’t train, I’ll go for a walk.

“But when I’m at home, I’ll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week.’

She also said she chose to focus on “moderation” when it comes to food rather than cutting things out entirely. “I don’t deny myself anything, I eat everything, but in moderation,” she went on.

And the new images showed her new physique as she beamed in the summery images. Alison wore a summer striped skirt, white T-shirt, and denim jacket as she posed in front of shrubbery.

Her makeup was flawless as she smiled with her hands on her hips. And her hair looked amazing in a side part. And her “glam man” Mikey Phillips was also pleased with the appearance, sharing his own images on his account.

Fans were quick to head to the comments section of the uploads to shower the Bake Off star with compliments after seeing new snaps of her slimmer figure. “Wow did not even recognise you Alison you look fantastic,” gushed one user.

Another posted: “You look amazing and love watching you on TV, such a breath of fresh air.” And a third added: “Such an inspirational weight loss journey. Hard work pays off, and you look incredible.”

Alison has been open about her weight loss journey over the years. She previously admitted to trying intervention methods and revealed in 2007 she had a gastric band fitted. However, she had it removed three years later after her body rejected it.

The presenter was recently said to be feeling “on top of the world” as her relationship with 28-year-old David Putman blossoms. A source told the Mirror: “Alison is literally on top of the world at the moment – she just could not be happier. She’s been grinning from ear to ear recently and David is a huge reason for that.”
