ITV has confirmed The Masked Singer’s future after the latest dramatic series saw ‘diva’ Macy Gray storm off.
The hit show’s sixth series was packed with jaw-dropping reveals, dazzling performances – and even a dramatic moment when ‘diva’ Macy Gray stormed off after being sent home.

Despite the drama, the show has remained a firm favourite among viewers, consistently pulling in strong ratings and cementing its place as a Saturday night staple.
The Sun can reveal TMS will return for another run, with an insider exclusively telling us bosses are keen to continue booking big names.
The source said: “After the huge success of the last series and the continued audience it’s pulling it, viewers will be delighted to know that The Masked Singer will return for another series next year.
“The calibre of celebrities have been really high and there are hopes to maintain those levels of celebrities for the next series.
“It’s still a fan favourite for the family, and perfect Saturday evening show that has continued to do well year after year.”
Last week, The Masked Singer crowned its latest winner with Pufferfish being unmasked as a major theatre star.
Fans of the ITV guessing game were left stunned when it was confirmed that Pufferfish was in fact the West End’s leading lady, Samantha Barks.
She beat off competition from Dressed Crab and Wolf, who were also revealed to be major stars.
The show’s panel – Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama and guest judge Danny Jones – were left in awe when Samantha took off her mask to finally confirm her identity.
Finishing a close runner-up to Samantha was Dressed Crab, who turned out to be soul and jazz star Gregory Porter.

Earlier in the series, US superstar Macy was left furious that she had been ejected from the competition and stormed off stage, leaving production staff begging her to come back.
Host Joel Dommett later struggled to get more than one-word answers out of her.
So judge Jonathan valiantly pitched in and used all his chat show skills to make it a less agonising experience.
He later reflected: “I don’t think it was my interview technique. I think it was just me being a relatively compassionate human.
“I wanted to try to make that moment on stage for her less awkward. That’s all.
“I was trying to keep her engaged with it so she wouldn’t look bad. And I also wanted her to maybe leave with a smile.
“So I made some jokes about Joel to try to move the focus from what had happened and away from her. But really I was just trying to make it less difficult for her.
“I was a little surprised at her reaction, but I can understand why someone might feel vulnerable in that moment.
“Especially if you are a very, very, talented professional singer and you think, ‘Why am I going out now?’ But that’s the kind of nature of it. It’s a guessing game, not a talent show.
“There’s always a few people who aren’t singers who can’t sing. If it was a talent show they’d all go out in the first week. But where would the fun be in that?
“Ultimately, it’s the audience that has decided who’s in the bottom two. It’s not us. And I think we’d all guessed pretty much it was her by then.
“So it was the choice we had — do we send someone home when we don’t know who it is and we know the audience probably don’t know, or do we send someone home who we’ve kind of figured out even though they’re a great talent?
“So the option was, let’s send the person home and see if we are right. That was all it came down to, really.”
