Donald Trump is planning to attend the Super Bowl following his return to office this year and will be at the Caesars Super Dome in New Orleans to take in the big game on Sunday.
The appearance will make him the first sitting United States president to go watch a Super Bowl in person, and he has been speaking about America’s most-watched event all week.
Trump took to his Truth Social social media platform this Friday to praise the starting quarterbacks, Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, referring to the Eagles and Chiefs stars as “two great quarterbacks.”
The president also hailed Saquon Barkley as an “unbelievable running back” following his capture of the Offensive Player of the Year Award on Thursday night while branding Travis Kelce the “absolute best tight end in football ever.”
Trump is apparently not a fan of the NFL’s new kickoff rule, which he claims makes the game more dangerous.
“If they would only get rid of that really weird looking new Kickoff “deal, they would be doing everybody, especially the fans, a big favor,” he wrote.

Donald Trump Bringing Back Super Bowl Tradition
Donald Trump also confirmed that he will be participating in the traditional 3:00 PM interview before the game, which had been skipped by former President Joe Biden during his term
“There hasn’t been one in four years (Gee, I wonder why?),” he added.
Meanwhile, Mahomes and Kelce have both said that they are excited to play in front of a sitting president. It would be quite something if they could make history with him in attendance, but the Eagles will be keen on stopping that.

President Donald Trump is reportedly bringing two notable guests to watch Super Bowl 59 with him at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Donald Trump will attend Super Bowl 59 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. This marks an interesting piece of history, as Trump will become the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl.
According to the New York Post, Trump’s guests for Super Bowl 59 include Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.
Trump attended the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 7 home game against the New York Jets at Acrisure Stadium back in October before he defeated Kamala Harris in the presidential election.
Donald Trump has many connections to the NFL, including strong friendships with Tom Brady, Brett Favre and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Trump has received donations for his presidential runs from several NFL owners, including Kraft, Jerry Jones, Shad Khan, Woody Johnson, the Glazer family, Dean Spanos and Jimmy Haslam.
The 78-year-old Trump also made an effort to purchase the Buffalo Bills following the passing of Ralph Wilson in 2014, but the AFC East club wound up being sold to Terry and Kim Pegula.

Super Bowl 59 will kick off at 6:30 p.m. EST. Kendrick Lamar will headline the halftime show, and SZA has been confirmed as a special guest.
Donald Trump Wraps Up Third Week Of Second Term
Trump’s busy third week in his second presidential term will conclude with a special seat at the Super Bowl, which will feature two star-studded teams. He can’t ask for much better.
By defeating Harris in the 2024 election, Trump joined Grover Cleveland on the exclusive list of American presidents to serve non-consecutive terms. Cleveland was in the White House from 1885 to 1889 before losing to Benjamin Harrison in the 1988 election.
However, Cleveland went on to defeat Harrison in the 1892 election to reclaim his seat.
