Craig Revel Horwood has hit out at former Strictly Come Dancing stars James and Ola Jordan, claiming that they ‘want his job’ as a TV judge. Earlier in the year, the trio had a ‘heated feud’ after Ola called for a shake up of the judging panel. Now, the judge has hit back on an interview on This Morning.
Speaking to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on why he’s ‘toned down’ his comments during the show, Craig said he now has to mind his ‘ps and qs’ more than he did before. “As soon as you start giving critique, you do have to think – are they going to take it personally?” Insisting he wouldn’t be changing however, the judge quipped: “James and Ola Jordan just want my job. Good luck to them darling because I’m not going anywhere!”

At the end of last year, during the BBC show’s anniversary series, professional dancer Ola Jordan called for ‘nicey nicey’ Craig to be axed from the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel.
Alongside this, she said the judges needed to have more spice and a refreshed appearance in order for them to remain relevant to audiences.

Ola said to Mecca Bingo: “I feel like Craig’s lost his sparkle. People loved Craig for what he was before. He would say it as it is, saying he wasn’t good, that was rubbish, but it’s almost like he’s got to say a positive now.” She then continued to suspect the show ‘didn’t want any negativity’.
Craig then responded with a scathing remark on X, formerly known as Twitter as he penned: “Former Strictly pro Ola Jordan says ‘nicey nicey’ Craig Revel Horwood replaced with ‘spicier’ judge.

“Maybe you’d like to suggest your wonderful husband Ola?” It wasn’t long before James responded, asking if he would make a “good honest judge.” He then concluded: “I don’t suppose you read the part where she said you were her favourite judge – big love my friend,” alongside a red heart emoji.
It may not be the last Craig has to say on the matter – as he told This Morning hosts Ben and Cat he’s prepared to answer any question on tour including behind the scenes Strictly secrets. The star will be going on tour later this year to celebrate releasing his debut album REVELATIONS.
