Jess Wright admits she always feels pressure that she isn’t ‘doing well enough’ as she speaks out on being compared to Mark’s success
Jess Wright has admitted she constantly thinks she isn’t ‘doing well enough’ as she opened up about dealing with the pressures of being from such a successful family.
The reality star rose to fame as an original member of TOWIE back in 2010 alongside her well known brother Mark.
Jess also has two other younger siblings, Josh, 35, who is a former footballer turned manager, and influencer Natalya, 24.
And in a candid chat with The Sun, Jess revealed how Mark’s success impacts her as she discussed how tough the TV industry is.
She admitted: ‘I’m quite driven by my family. Everyone is really ambitious and, obviously, Mark’s really successful. Joshua is successful in what he does. Natalya’s smashing it with her stuff.
‘So you’re always like: “God, am I doing enough?” I’m really hard on myself. I always think I’m not doing well enough.’

Jess continued: ‘I wake up in the morning thinking about my career. This industry is tough, TV is really hard to come by these days. You’ve got these new characters coming into the industry all the time. I have to remind myself that I’ve had 15 years in the public eye and I’m still working.’
Jess’s most recent project sees her star alongside Jack Osbourne, Natalie Cassidy and Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu for the upcoming series of ITV’s Cooking With The Stars, which starts on Saturday.
Earlier this week Jess looked effortlessly chic in a semi-sheer white blouse and a black-and-white polka dot mini skirt at the show’s premiere.
Flaunting her toned pins, Jess also added height with a pair of classic black court heels and carried a £2,475 Saint Laurent Sac de Jour handbag.
She was joined by host of famous faces, including Ekin-Su, Hugh Dennis, Natalie Cassidy, Jordan North, Michael Caines, Tony Singh, Elliott Grover, and Jack Stein.
Meanwhile Mark is busy hosting his Heart Breakfast show alongside pal Olly Murs and has also reportedly agreed to appear on the next instalment of Celebrity Bake Off.
The reality TV star will be joining a star-studded cast on the much-loved Channel 4 show, with Molly-Mae Mague and JoJo Siwa two of the celebrities rumoured to have signed up.
If the speculation is true, it would mark the radio host’s first television appearance since the birth of his daughter Palma Elizabeth in March, who he shares with wife Michelle Keegan.

Mark Wright, 38, has reportedly agreed to appear on the next instalment of Celebrity Bake Off
Filming for the show, which is set to air next year, is believed to have already finished.
A source told The Sun: ‘Mark has had his hands full being a new dad but he found time to film for the new series of Celebrity Bake Off.
‘It’s a cause close to Mark’s heart as it’s all for the Stand Up Cancer charity and he is a big fan of the show.
‘It won’t air until next year so fans will have to wait a good few months to find out how he fares in the tent.’
Jess previously revealed the parenting advice she gave her brother Mark and his wife Michelle after they welcomed their baby daughter Palma.
The TOWIE star told OK! ‘Obviously now we’ve got Palma who is going to fit right in. She’s adorable! They all absolutely love spending time with each other and Palma is an angel. She’s so beautiful and sweet. The boys love her and are very gentle with her.
‘It’s lovely seeing [Mark and Michelle] as parents, I knew they would be incredible parents and they are.
‘We’re always with each other anyway and we tell each other little bits – there’s always room to help each other out when you have babies. It’s all such new territory.’
