A Good Morning Britain viewer has exposed Ed Balls’ messy habit after sharing a picture from behind his desk in the ITV studio.
Tuesday’s instalment of the show saw Ed, 57, and Susanna Reid, 54, return to our screens to discuss the latest headlines, news and chat to guests.
During the episode, one eagle-eyed fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to point out how messy Ed’s desk looked from behind.
The fan took a picture of their TV screens while watching GMB.
The moment they caught was just as the show returned to our screens after the adverts – and it showed a sneak peek of what the pair’s work space looks like.
There were piles of yellow paper stacked around Ed behind his desk – which weren’t on display for viewers to see from their normal presenting stance.

The 57-year-old became a permanent presenter on the ITV show in 2022
One was placed on a mini table, with another on the floor and then plenty of others in a more organised pile in front of him.
There were also some newspapers under the yellow paper, along with a box of tissues balanced on table.
The eagle-eyed fan spotted it and wrote on X: ‘@edballs don’t use the floor get a bin!!!! #GMB.’
Ed is yet to respond to the post.
Elsewhere in the episode, Ed and Susanna spoke to a number of guests about some very interesting and important topics.
Love Island’s Sharon Gaffka appeared on the programme, as well as Perez Hilton to discuss Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s recent appearance on the Grammy’s red carpet.
They also discussed fears surrounding the unsafe prescribing of weight loss jabs.
It was also brought up how the NHS have launched a new AI analysis trial which will help detect breast cancer.

Campaigner Julia Bradbury – who is now in remission after having breast cancer in 2021 – appeared on the show to talk about it.
Julia explained: ‘So I’ve got something called dense breast.
‘It’s to do with the tissue, the density of the tissue.
‘It makes it very difficult to detect cancer on mammograms on that imaging.
‘Because dense breasts show up white on mammogram and cancerous tumours show up white.
‘The description by many medicals is looking for a snowball in a snowstorm.’
She explained that if it had been caught sooner she may have had a lumpectomy rather than a mastectomy.
