Chelsee explained in her caption on Instagram: “Had so many messages about Dancing on Ice, thank you everyone for the support
“Just a little context of how I have been feeling with the 2 videos, I have had a lot to deal with.
“God knew I needed to just take time for Myself and be at home with my girls. A smile can sometimes hide a thousand feelings …”
In one of the videos, recorded before her first Dancing On Ice performance with pro Andy Buchanan, her eyes were rimmed with tears and she said: “Hi everyone, I’ve not really come on here and spoke for a little while…
“I’m on my way to London because it’s the first live show on Sunday for Dancing On Ice which is really, really exciting and at the same time, I’m riddled with anxiety at leaving the girls…
“I’m just really nervous but overwhelmed. I’m not upset, just kind of taking it all in.
“I’m a really nervous person so just hope and pray guys that I get through the first live show on Sunday.”
Honest Chelsee was flooded with support beneath her post.
One fan said: “We are all still so beyond proud of you! Your amazing at anything you do.”
Another said: “You deserved better! You were amazing on strictly deffo had potential, hope you’re okay!”
Shock Dancing on Ice elimination leaves celebrity stunned as they’re sent home without a skate-off
After finding out that she was being sent home, Chelsee praised her dance partner Andy Buchanan for being “amazing” and said she “couldn’t have done it without him”.
She added: “I feel, personally, there’s been a lot going on with me that I’ve been struggling with, so I couldn’t completely focus.
“I’m just really grateful, I’ve had the best time.”
However, Dancing on Ice fans complained about her exit after a format change this year.
Bosses scraped the skate off and instead sent the celebrity with the fewest combined votes and judges’ scores home.
Reacting to Chelsee being booted off the show, one person was so angry that they even sent a complaint to the regulator, Ofcom.
“This is a rigged joke, There were five skating tonight, six last week, the perfcentages are all rigged. Chelsee has been done over.”
Another person then aired their frustrations, sharing a photo of Chelsee and writing: “Got rid of the dance off (they clearly had time for it).
“Put the two worst skaters in the same week.”
KNOCKED OUT
The 36-year-old star suffered a fall while practising a routine and was rushed to medics after being knocked unconcsious.
Andy described the scary moment, telling The Sun: “We had one fall. She fell right on her tailbone, right on her coccyx. You know that shock that goes right through your body, and then she fainted. That was a bit of a scary one.
“She was out for a minute. I was like, ‘Look at me,’ and then there was no looking at me.”
Chelsee added: “I remember Andy waking me up and going, ‘Chelsee, Chelsee,’ and he picked me up and dragged me off the ice. I was all dizzy, and then I just went.”
When asked how she felt days before Dancing On Ice laucnhed, Chelsee admitted: “Broken. I’m s******g myself.”
The mum-of-two added: “I’ve not been able to sleep because this has been on my mind.
“I’ve been up, sleepless nights. I feel like I’m quite a worrier anyway, but it feels like it’s ten fold because it’s something so out of my comfort zone.
“So yeah, just taking day by day, hour by hour and just always remembering why I’m doing it, so, yeah.”
