Gregg Wallace has spoken about making “a promise” to himself in a cryptic social media post, two months on from his MasterChef scandal.
The former BBC host was accused in December of “inappropriate behaviour” by a number of women, including contestants on Celebrity MasterChef and a ghostwriter. The 60-year-old denied allegations of inappropriate s3xual comments at the time, insisting via his legal team: “It is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a s3xually harassing nature.”
Now, Gregg has taken to social media to share a post about reflection. Posting a photograph of a scenic sky view on Sunday morning, he wrote: “Sunday can be a time for reflection. Perhaps make ourselves a promise for next week.”

The TV presenter returned to social media earlier this month after stepping back from MasterChef while the production company investigated claims of alleged misconduct.
In December, Gregg was accused of s3xual misconduct by 13 women over a period of 17 years, including Kirsty Wark and Ulrika Jonsson. Reports alleged that the presenter ‘groped’ three women in separate incidents – which he has denied.
Earlier this week, production company Banijay UK hired top legal firm Lewis Silkin to help with the investigation into Gregg Wallace. The first stage of the probe is reportedly underway, with a string of women who complained about Wallace invited to attend to give evidence.
The production company are hoping to have the probe completed “as quickly as possible” but admit that the process is “very time consuming”.
“The lawyers spent a bit of time gathering their thoughts and making a plan before Christmas, and now they are conducting the interviews,” a source told the Sun.
“They have approached anyone who previously raised concerns, either with the BBC or with the production team, but have also made it clear that anybody with what they believe to be relevant information can also contact them.
“They are sitting down with women from all walks of life, some of whom have spoken out publicly and others who have not been named so far – ranging from junior producers to big name talent in their own right.”
Back in December, Sir Rod Stewart alleged the TV presenter had “humiliated” his wife Penny Lancaster when she competed on Celebrity MasterChef in 2021.
He said: “So Greg Wallace gets fired from Masterchef. Good riddance Wallace…You humiliated my wife when she was on the show but you had that bit cut out didn’t you? You’re a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya. Sir Rod Stewart.”
