Lorraine viewers were left divided after Piers Morgan returned to daytime TV on Tuesday.
While some critics branded the journalist, 59, ‘nauseating’ others raved ‘it’s good to have him back!’
Piers joined Lorraine Kelly, 65, on her show to talk about Donald Trump returning to The White House.
The broadcaster left ITV back in 2021 amid backlash to his criticism of Meghan Markle – which he refused to apologise for, against the demand of the show’s bosses.
He originally joined the Good Morning Britain team in 2015 but these days is best known for fronting his own show Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on the broadcaster being back on their screens.
One brutally said: ‘Get rid of Piers Morgan. He does not deserve air time on #Lorraine.’

One more brutall chimed in: ‘Piers Morgan blowing his trumpet on Lorraine gives me the f****** jaundice.’
While others made it clear they enjoyed him being back.
A third tweeted: ‘Does feel a little like they’re trying to reboot Piers back into the ITV Daytime fold #lorraine #ThisMorning.’
‘Loved seeing Piers this morning. Bring piers back on to GMB! #piersmorgan #gmb # #lorraine,’ another wrote.
A sixth added: ‘#Lorraineplease bring back Piers Morgan on GMB.’
Piers addressed the reaction on X, writing: ‘Thanks for all the kind (and unkind) comments about my appearance on Lorraine today. Always great fun catching up with the fabulous Lorraine and seeing so many other old friends at ITV Towers.’
Elsewhere in their conversation Lorraine mentioned the wildfires that have happened over in America, and that she knows Piers has a property in LA.
Piers told Lorraine: ‘My business manager lost his entire home.

Lorraine blushed as she said: ‘Thank you. You can call me up any time and tell me that.’
Piers said: ‘I’m going to phone you up and say “Lorraine you’re looking great.”‘
