Fans of Love Island All Stars were stunned to discover Marcel Somerville and Olivia Hawkins had been dumped from the South African villa. However, many have taken to social media to predict what their next move as a couple might be – and it’s not looking good for the pair.
The couple left hand in hand after the shock public vote on Wednesday. They even told Maya Jama they were happy to be leaving together, with Liv hinting she could be ready for her first boyfriend. Marcel, meanwhile, told the presenter he was happy to be with Liv and to have sorted past issues with ex Gabby Allen.
Despite their early exit, Marcel told host Maya: “I feel like we had a really good, compatible relationship.” Olivia also suggested that they’d grown closer than ever in recent day, saying: “I feel the last two days we got so close.”
Despite Marcel and Olivia appearing to be moving in the right direction together, fans of the ITV show weren’t convinced romance was on the horizon.

Olivia and Marcel were voted out of Love Island
Taking to Twitter /X, one user predicted: “Liv is BLOCKING Marcel when she lands in Gatwick #loveisland #loveislandallstars #allstars.” Another added: “I give marcel and liv until next week Thursday #LoveIslandAllStars”
A third seemingly agreed the pair weren’t destined to last, writing: “Olivia’s non answer to Maya’s question about Marcel being her first boyfriend, was an answer, TRUST! #LoveIsland #AllStars #LoveIslandAllStars.” And a fourth said: “Marcel and Olivia will have that joint Instagram statement up by the end of the week #loveisland #loveislandallstars #allstars”
Their exit comes after the former Blazin Squad star had pulled Luca Bish about his apparent flirty behaviour with Liv. The former fishmonger, 25, is looking for love on the show again after coming second on Love Island in 2022 with ex, Gemma Owen.
He was initially coupled up with Liv, 29, before recoupling with bombshell Grace Jackson. But prior to the recoupling, Luca and Liv shared an intense stare down as they both signalled their attraction to each other. Luca has since denied there was any chemistry between the pair.

Love Island fans aren’t sure whether Marcel and Olivia will last on the outside
Elsewhere during Wednesday’s episode, one couple who did share feelings was Ekin-Su and Curtis, with the pair seemingly going “official” after just one week in the villa. As the pair spoke to each other, Ekin-Su asked Curtis: “I just want to know if you thought it’s going too slow or fast…” Curtis responded: “I don’t think we’re going too fast or too slow, I’m a one woman man and I wanna throw myself into this with no barriers…”
Ekin then added: “I’m invested in basically you, I’m being vulnerable with you, I can’t give that to another man, maybe I am closed off…that’s how I feel.” Curtis quickly agreed, saying: “Yeah, I’d say I’m closed off, it’s nice!” before Ekin-Su laughed and told him: “Shut up and kiss me!”
