DANNY Jones’ wife Georgia has missed a podcast appearance following his Brits kiss with Maura Higgins.

Married McFly guitarist Danny, 38, and single Love Island star Maura, 34, were in high spirits as they shared a drunken kiss at Universal Music’s celeb-filled bash after The Brit Awards at the start of the month.

And now it has been revealed that Danny’s wife Georgia Horsley does not feature on the latest instalment of her podcast in the wake of the scandal.

Georgia, 38, has yet to break her silence on her husband’s kiss, but seems to be keeping a very low profile as she deals with the aftermath of Danny’s antics – with the pair reportedly holding “crisis talks”.

The former Miss England had been due to participate in a Q&A with her pal Kelsey Parker, who she co-hosts podcast Mum’s The Word with.

But mum-of-one Georgia was nowhere to be seen during the event at The Baby Show in London, despite Kelsey attending and answering questions from fans.

Days before she was due to speak at the event, a source told MailOnline: “Sitting down for a Q&A in front of a live audience is not what Georgia needs right now.

“She is mortified at how this has all played out and can’t help but feel humiliated.”

Now Georgia has seemingly bowed out of another work commitment, and does not appear in the latest episode of Mum’s The Word! With Georgia Jones & Kelsey Parker.

The most recent episode of the popular show was released in the early hours of Monday morning – without Georgia.

Instead, Kelsey was joined by former Love Island star Olivia Bowen, who discussed the heartbreaking loss of one of her unborn twins.

At the start of the episode, Kelsey failed to touch on Georgia’s absence when she says: “Welcome back to Mum’s The Word. I’m your host Kelsey Parker and today I am joined by the amazing Olivia Bowen.”

Georgia’s last appearance on the podcast was March 3, the previous episode, which was released just hours before the news of Danny’s drunken kiss with Maura broke.

Danny has been married to Georgia Horsley since 2014.

But he was seen laughing with Maura at Sony Music’s party around 4am on the morning after the Brit Awards last week.

An onlooker said at the time: “Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time.

“They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss.

“Danny and Maura seem to have a close friendship after meeting in the jungle.

“They were talking and laughing for ages.”

And after their drunken kiss, the pair stayed at a hotel until 6am sharing wine.

Speaking of the crisis talks between Georgia and Danny which have reportedly followed the kiss, a source said: “Everyone would understand why Danny and his wife have been quiet.”

The source continued to tell The Mirror: “They are likely working through various discussions from the first video that was released alone. With this second video, Danny needs to now speak out.”
