The Nebraska Cornhuskers and Green Bay Packers organizations are mourning after the d3ath of Calvin Jones.
Jones, who played running back at Nebraska from 1990-93, tragically passed away Wednesday.
The 54-year-old was found dead in his residence, according to KETV NewsWatch 7.
It turns out the terms of his d3ath were even more heartbreaking as Jones was said to be having issues with his furnace and was subsequently forced to use a generator.
“A close family friend told KETV that Jones was having problems with his furnace, his home was cold and had to use a generator,” Jake Anderson wrote.
Omaha police told KETV that his d3ath was indicative of carbon monoxide poisoning.
