Rev Richard Coles left Pete Wicks blushing on Wednesday’s episode of Lorraine as he hinted he’s heard all about his love life with Maura Higgins – including the gory details.

The I’m A Celebrity star, 62, appeared on Lorraine to discuss the adaptation of his book Murder Before Evensong and dish out some advice to those confessing their secrets.

But before the former Communards star could offer any pearls of wisdom to viewers, host Lorraine Kelly asked her other guest Pete whether he had anything to confess.

The TOWIE star, 37, declined to comment and said his confessions were too inappropriate, which led Rev Richard to reveal he already knew one or two secrets after spending time with the star’s girlfriend Maura Higgins in the jungle.

The Scottish host, 65, said: ‘Have got anything you want to confess to the Reverend Pete Wicks?’

The reality star replied: ‘Lots of things, but I don’t think they’re suitable for daytime telly if I’m honest with you.’

But the Reverend hinted he already knew all there was to tell, cheekily replying: ‘I’ve heard them all already to be fair from someone whose name we won’t mention’, hinting that Pete’s girlfriend Maura may have spilled their love life secrets to him already.

Loraine, laughing then added: ‘Nothing would shock this one’.

And Pete looked stunned by Richard’s response, just about managing to maintain his composure.

Maura, 34, and Pete, sparked rumours they spent Christmas together after the new couple posted snaps in what seemed like the same pub.

The duo sparked dating rumours earlier this year when they were spotted flirting and kissing at various star-studded events and the star confirmed her romance with Pete after her exit from the Jungle.

Elsewhere on the episode, Lorraine asked Richard for some updates on his and GK Barry’s friendship after their time Down Under.

The former pop star and the YouTuber struck up an unlikely friendship during their time on the reality show which led to several hilarious interactions, including discussions over funeral plans, concaved nipples and faith.

While still on the show last year, the podcast host said: ‘Me and Reverend talk about the most random stuff all day.

Elsewhere on the episode, Lorraine asked Richard for some updates on his and GK Barry’s friendship after their time Down Under

‘I think I’m going to have attachment issues when I leave here. I’m going to start going too church just to see him.’

Richard echoed Grace’s thoughts, telling the camera: ‘She’s so funny. I love her angle on things. And she’s a decent, kind, good person.

‘I love GK and I hope that we continue to be friends. She just makes me laugh all the time. I think we’re on each other’s wavelength.

‘I would like to have her around in my life. That would be great.’

And it seems their friendship has stood the test of time.

Richard revealed to Lorraine that they a TV show was in the works but first they’re going to spend some quality time together.

Lorraine said: ‘Everyone is speculating, can you do something together?

Richard replied: ‘We are going to do something together. We’re having a meeting later today to see if we can – well I’m taking her to the opera.

The star’s comments left Lorraine blushing and spluttering and she replied: ‘You’ll be shocked’.

The former I’m A Celeb camp mate then said: ‘Well she told me what it is and I thought it was a vuvuzela [a plastic horn] which you’ve got at the World Cup remember, but it’s a vajazzle.’

The shocked Lorraine commented: ‘It’ll be a whole new world for you, it’ll be interesting.’

The celebrity vicar also confessed that the I’m A Celeb cast are organising a reunion, including one in London, but that they’re all hoping that Coleen Rooney will host a soiree.

He said: ‘We’re organising two reunions at the moment. One in London and then we all want to go and stay at Coleen and Wayne’s house – we want to see their media room really.’

Lorraine joked: ‘There’ll be a wing for all of you!’

Joining in on the teasing, Richard added: ‘You get an orangery each apparently, we’re very excited.’
