Ruth Langsford was forced to drop out of a live TV appearance after being struck down with sickness.
The Loose Women presenter, 65, debuted her QVC line back in 2017 and features on a two-hour telly slot every week.
However, Ruth has revealed that she is suffering from an illness and won’t be on Thursday evening’s show (April 30) that is set to run from 7pm to 9pm.
She uploaded an update on her Instagram story with the caption: ‘I’ve got a horrible tummy bug so unfortunately can’t do my show @qvcuk tonight!’
The star added: ‘Thankfully the wonderful @melissahardystyle is stepping in for me so I hope you can join her… some lovely new pieces launching! Thanks Melissa!’
Alongside the update, Ruth shared a photograph of herself and fashion stylist Melissa Hardy smiling who will be covering her show instead.

The TV star often shares her clothing range on social media where she promotes new additions to her line.
She has previously described how her collections have been inspired by her day-to-day wardrobe.
Back in 2017, Ruth said: ‘I have put my heart into designing the pieces and was determined that they reflect what women want – to look modern whilst being comfortable.
‘From the dresses and tops to jackets and my signature jeans, I was passionate about designing a range that I would wear every day. I am so enormously proud of it.’
Earlier this month, the presenter shared how she was spending her first Easter weekend since splitting from Eamonn Holmes.
She posted on her Instagram story and revealed that she had been enjoying some fish and chips at a pub in Weybridge.
Ruth wrote: ‘Should probably have been yesterday but finally got some fish for Easter!’

This was later followed up by a mirror selfie of the presenter showing off her fashionable outfit for the holiday weekend.
Ruth had chosen to wear a denim top and jeans with a knitted gilet.
She accessorised the outfit with oversized sunglasses, completing the look with a pair of silver loafers and a brown handbag.
Ruth and Eamonn announced their split last year after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together, with Eamonn going public with his new relationship with dating counsellor Katie Alexander shortly after.
