Brittany Mahomes and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, are celebrating the birth of their third child.

On Monday, the Mahomeses announced the birth of their daughter, Golden Raye Mahomes, who arrived on Sunday. Golden joins her three-year-old sister Sterling and two-year-old brother Bronze in the Mahomes household. We’re sure you can pick up on the theme here with the first names.

Last year, Brittany made her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The former collegiate soccer player traveled to Belize for the shoot, donning a bright red swimsuit reminiscent of Chiefs colors.

“As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue],” Mahomes told Sports Illustrated. “I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”

 

After news of Golden’s birth began circulating Monday, the official SI Swimsuit Instagram account congratulated Brittany by sharing a photo from her 2024 appearance.

“This hot mama just became a mother of THREE! Congratulations on your Golden girl @brittanylynne ✨We are so excited to see your beautiful family grow.

Enjoy every precious moment! ❤️,” SI Swimsuit wrote in the caption of the post, which can be seen here. “Thank yall,” Brittany responded in he comments section.

Brittany Mahomes has made fitness an important part of her routine, continuing to show off her personal workouts even throughout her pregnancy. While she’s going to be spending the next few months of her life tending to baby Golden–and maybe celebrating another Chiefs Super Bowl run–perhaps we’ll see Brittany back on the pages of SI Swim down the line.

“I think of all the incredible athletes I’ve grown up watching over the years,” Mahomes said of posing for the publication. “Just seeing elite athletes go out of their comfort zone [and pose for the magazine] is so inspiring!”
