Good Morning Britain viewers raged ‘they have no shame!’ as a guest brazenly bragged about making £1k a month shoplifting on Wednesday’s instalment of the ITV show.
A woman named ‘Sarah’ spoke anonymously to journalist Richard Gaisford about how much money she makes by stealing goods from shops.
Sarah explained that she calls it a ‘game of Pac-man’, where she tries to get around the shop before they can catch her.
Richard pointed out that shops are shutting because they are losing money through theft, to which Sarah replied: ‘That’s not my fault.’
He told her: ‘That’s everything to do with you.’
She said back: ‘No it’s not my fault. It’s not my fault. It’s not, it’s their fault.

Ed Balls and Susanna Reid presented the ITV show on Wednesday morning
‘They should have better security. They should have more staff workers.
‘They should be on their job like I am.
‘I’m better at my job than they are at their job and that’s the bottom line.’
Richard was keen to find out if she had ever been caught or punished for what they have been doing.
Sarah told him: ‘Sometimes I do get caught but very rarely the police get called, and if the police do get called, sometimes I get off, I’ve only ever been locked up for it once and still not charged.’
Elsewhere in the interview he explained that she was ‘taking advantage of companies’ and they pass the price onto costumers.
Sarah said that she’s ‘proud’ of how she works, and if she became a millionaire tomorrow, she’d still do it because of the ‘thrill’ it gives her.
Retail worker Michelle Whitehead also appeared live in the Good Morning Britain studio to give her take on the shoplifting crisis.
She said: ‘I went into retail to serve the customers and stock up shelves.
I didn’t go into retail to protect myself and my works.
What that person doesn’t realise is that if you put security guards, that gets our bottom line.
‘Shops that are closing. If you think of these poor little independent, I work for a company, these will suffer.
‘These independent businesses they cant afford sec guards, that are closing, people are out of jobs.
‘That person, it’s funny how she’s hiding behind a mask. ‘
Those watching at home flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their frustrations over the segment.

Viewers rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say the same thing after watching the segment on GMB
One questioned: ‘Why are GMB hiding the identity of a thief who takes a thousand pounds worth of stock every day from shops?’
Another added: ‘Why are they protecting her identity? Should’ve told her it was anonymous but just exposed her… Since it’s a crime…’
‘Calling it work dear lord #gmb,’ a third chimed in.
A fourth tweeted: ‘They have no shame #gmb.’
Another shockingly said: ‘#gmb I worked for years as a retail manager. I’ve been spat at, threatened with a dirty needle, all sorts by thieves. It’s not our job to do security.’
