This Morning fans all made the same joke as Alison Hammond hosted a discussion about age-gap relationships.
Friday’s episode of the ITV television show saw hosts Dermot O’Leary, 51, and Alison Hammond, 50, sit down with psychologist Linda Papadopoulos.
Dermot opened up the conversation with, ‘As Bridget Jones finds love on-screen with a younger man, today we’re sharing your age-gap love stories.’
Alison continued, ‘Now we’ve had lots of calls and psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos is here to help you out. When it comes to massive age relationships, where do you stand on this?’
The television presenter has been in a relationship with 27-year-old Russian masseuse David Putman since December 2023.
The pair like to keep their relationship out of the spotlight as much as they can.

Dr Linda replied: ‘I’ll tell you where the research stands. The sweet spot if you want to make a relationship last is one to three years. About 8% of us are in relationships ten years or older.’
She then shared a racy reveal about libido and sexual fulfillment among older women.
‘Actually, contrary to public opinion women who are older tend to be happier, especially sexually,’ she added.
Some viewers took to social media to share their thoughts on the discussion, with one quipped: ‘I love how they’re doing a segment on ‘age gap relationships’ and Alison Hammond is just sitting there like an audience member!
‘There was clearly a ‘don’t mention my boyfriend is 23 years younger than me’ clause put into that part of the show #ThisMorning.’;
‘Alison grinning like a Cheshire Cat throughout this discussion.’;
‘Does Alison not want to talk about her age gap between her boyfriend? #thismorning.’
It comes after earlier this month This Morning shared an adorable snap of Alison kissing her rarely-seen boyfriend during their recent romantic trip to New York.
