This Morning fans were left divided after Daisy May Cooper shamelessly flirted with Ben Shephard using a ‘creepy’ pick-up line.
The actress, 38, appeared on the ITV show on Tuesday to talk to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about the return of her TV show Am I Being Unreasonable.
At the beginning of the segment, it was made very clear that Daisy has a soft spot for Ben as they played out a clip of her fangirling over the presenter a few years ago during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.
Daisy couldn’t contain her excitement as she sat down on the This Morning sofa, saying to Ben: ‘I just think you’re perfect.
‘You’ve got such a symmetrical face.
‘You are wonderful. I am shaking. I am not going to get creepy, I promise.

‘I just think you’re very handsome.’
Cat pointed out that it wasn’t the first time that the star had swooned over Ben.
This Morning then played out a clip of Daisy miming to Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You as she looked at a picture of him.
She was then seen running out into the Good Morning Britain studio back in February 2023, wrapped in a blanket that had his face printed on it.
As they hugged Ben said: ‘Can we just have a moment… Can we go to the break?’
He added: ‘You’re shaking Daisy.’
Susanna Reid could be heard saying: ‘Daisy May has a huge crush on Ben Shephard.’
Many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to point out the same thing.

Daisy has made her crush on Ben very well known
One wrote: ‘I’m sorry but this is creepy.’
Another added: ‘Daisy, you’re already coming across as creepy! If it was Ben saying this stuff there would be an uproar, just stop!’
A third chimed in: ‘Imagine the uproar if the roles were reversed. #ThisMorning Creepy as f**k.’
However others took to the platform to acknowledge what she said.
A fourth tweeted: ‘Daisy May Cooper; I totally agree with you.’
Another joked: ‘DaisyMay Cooper isn’t Ben’s number one fan. We all know that Mary Taylor from Coronation Street is! Fact! #Corrie#ThisMorning.’
During her interview, Cat gifted Daisy with a diffuser that smelt just like Ben.
‘I’m going to put that on my pillows,’ she confessed.

Daisy’s crush on Ben got people talking on X, formerly known as Twitter
Speaking about season two of Am I Being Unreasonable with the hosts, Daisy said: ‘It’s taken this long, nearly three years.
‘We had to go through every single scenario with every character, anything you could ever think of, we’ve thought of it and it’s been on a post it note in my bedroom.
‘After many breakdowns and watching MAFS UK to distract ourselves, we finally came up with the second series.’
Asking where the next series picks up from, Daisy explained: ‘We pick up half an hour where series one left off, it’s a bit mad because since then I’ve lost about five pounds and I’ve had my lips done.
‘So just go with it, just go with it. It’s funny, there’s a flash back where I have no lips and suddenly I look like Donald Duck.’
