Not that it should surprise anyone, but Donna and Ed Kelce would reportedly be thrilled if Travis Kelce ended up with the world’s biggest music star.
The three-time Super Bowl champion and Taylor Swift have been in a highly publicized relationship for about 18 months. Rumors about a looming proposal have ramped up for a while, but only Kelce and Swift really know if that’s on the horizon.
So, how would Donna and Ed feel if Travis Kelce popped the question to Swift? According to a report from Page Six, they view the Grammy Award-winning singer as the “perfect fit” for their son and would be over the moon if the two got engaged:
“Travis Kelce’s family “would love” for Taylor Swift to become a permanent fixture in the Kelce clan.
A source exclusively tells Page Six that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s family “adores” the pop superstar and thinks she’s a “perfect fit for Travis.” Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, dad, Ed Kelce, and brother, Jason Kelce, “would love to see Taylor and Travis spend their lives together.”
“They’ve never seen Travis so happy with a girlfriend before…Their families blend seamlessly,” Page Six was told by a source.
The Swift-Kelce relationship has made the Chiefs and the NFL more popular. Swift attended 13 games during the 2023 season and appeared frequently in 2024 despite the demanding schedule from her “Eras” tour.

Most celebrity power couples obviously don’t work out, but by all accounts, Swift and Kelce are head over heels for one another. They haven’t hit the two-year mark yet, but at this rate, nobody should be surprised if Swift gets the ring soon.
Travis Kelce Hasn’t Made A Decision On His Playing Future
Kelce signed a two-year contract extension last year, suggesting that he would at least play through 2025. But the future Hall of Famer hasn’t made a final decision, and it could take him several weeks (or months) to make a call.

The Kansas City Chiefs are once again headed to the Super Bowl, and while all eyes are on the team’s performance, an unexpected storyline has emerged, does Taylor Swift’s presence impact Travis Kelce’s stats? Since their relationship became public in Week 3 of the 2023 season, the pop superstar has been a frequent fixture at Chiefs games, leading to speculation that her support might be influencing Kelce’s on-field numbers.
The Chiefs are now in Super Bowl 59, which will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 6:30 PM ET at the legendary Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. They will face the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of Super Bowl 57, which the Chiefs won 38-35. The question remains, is there a ‘Swift Effect’ when it matters most? Let’s uncover the truth.

Some of his standout performances with Swift watching include:

When Swift is not in the stands, Kelce’s stats see a slight dip. In nine games without her present, he has managed 50 receptions for 452 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 5.6 catches and 50.2 yards per game, both lower than his averages when she is there. Some of his notable games without Swift include:
Against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4: 7 catches, 89 yards
Week 8 vs. Las Vegas Raiders: 10 catches, 90 yards, 1 touchdown
Week 17 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: 8 catches, 84 yards, 1 touchdown
The Chiefs’ record without Taylor Swift in attendance remains strong at 8-1 this season and 12-3 dating back to 2023, meaning the team can still perform at a high level when she isn’t present. However, Travis Kelce’s individual stats suggest a slight edge in performance when she is watching, especially in crucial postseason games.
