Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has shared his thoughts on Donald Trump’s plans to attend the Super Bowl this weekend.
According to a White House official, Trump will be at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 59 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Should things go according to plan, he will become the first sitting president to watch a Super Bowl in the flesh.
Mahomes was asked for his feelings on the POTUS coming to the game while speaking to reporters late on Wednesday and said it would be “cool” to play in front of a president.
“It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president, Someone that is at the top position in our country,” he said.
Mahomes also expressed gratitude over the recent compliments he got from Donald Trump, although he noted that he didn’t hear them himself.

Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Publicly Endorsed Donald Trump
Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, is known to be a Trump supporter and publicly endorsed the Republican ahead of the presidential elections last year.
Her political persuasions were rumored to have caused a rift with Taylor Swift as they sat separately from each other at a particular game, but the talk was quickly put to bed.
Swift’s partner and Mahomes’ teammate, Travis Kelce, shared sentiments similar to those of the quarterback, saying it’s “awesome” that Trump’s going to be at Sunday’s game.
“That’s awesome,” he told reporters earlier this week. “It’s a great honor, no matter who the president is. I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life.”
Super Bowl 59 will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at the aforementioned venue on Sunday.
VIDEO: Social Media Is In Stitches After Patrick Mahomes Gave His Best “Kermit The Frog” Impression Following Strange Question From Reporter At Super Bowl Week

With Super Bowl week well underway in New Orleans, Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs players have found themselves facing some odd questions from reporters.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts was asked for advice on how to become more handsome by one reporter, while Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was asked what he loved more between Taylor Swift and bogus roughing the passer penalties.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has had his share as well, with one reporter asking him for his best Kermit the Frog impression on Wednesday.
The Mahomes/Kermit comparison has been a long-running joke among NFL players and fans alike because of the way the KC star speaks. And he had the perfect answer to the reporter’s question.
“I’m talking right now, that’s it,” he said.

“He’s so corny,” a fan said in the comments.
“He’s not even fighting the allegations 😭😭😭,” another laughed.
“It’s actually funny how he’s accepted it now lmao,” a third chimed in.
“These reporters are a jokeeeeeee🤣,” another comment read.
Patrick Mahomes Taking It In Stride
It appears Patrick Mahomes is rolling with the Kermit joke.
Of course, he’s always been a good sport, so this is no surprise. We might only see him ruffled if the Eagles stop him from getting to that third consecutive Super Bowl win, especially as the NFL already went through the trouble of seeking permission to use the term “three-peat” since the Miami Heat president owns the trademark.
