Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been hit with a brutal blow after a new poll shows that Brits don’t want them to make any public appearances with the Royal Family now that they are back in the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, relocated back to Britain last week, marking the first time they have called the country home in six years.
While the motive behind the move from California remains unclear, many people have been wondering what this means regarding Harry and Meghan’s position with the Royal Family. This is because while they are no longer working royals, and are not set to become working royals anytime soon, they are still members of the family. This could therefore open the doors for appearances with the Royal Family on big occasions such as Christmas Day and Easter.
However, it seems that royal fans are not so keen on this, with a new poll by the Daily Express showing that many people do not want them to make appearances with the Royal Family.
The poll, which ran from 7am on September 2 until 10am on September 3, found that 5029 of the 5123 voters said no.
This was in response to the question ‘Should Harry and Meghan make appearances with the Royal Family?’
Only 75 people said they think the couple should make appearances with the Royal Family, while 19 people said they don’t know.

Many Daily Express readers also expressed just how much they don’t want Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, to attend events with the royals again.
One person commented: “Absolutely not. Not now, not ever.”
Someone else wrote: “Never, never, never.”
While many people are against the idea, it is important to note that many people are pleased that Harry and Meghan are back in the UK. One person wrote on X: “Welcome home, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
