A royal expert has claimed Princess Diana’s ‘prediction is coming true’ as she tore into King Charles for ‘welcoming’ Prince Harry back into the fold

One of Princess Diana’s predictions has resurfaced amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return, with a royal expert using her words to issue a damning analysis of King Charles.
Diana told Martin Bashir during her famous 1995 interview that Charles was never up to the “top job,” referring to the monarchy. And it’s columnist Maureen Callahan who is claiming that this prediction has come true.
Callahan made the comments shortly after Harry and Meghan reportedly arrived in the UK to start their new lives in the British countryside. This comes as Prince William remains “deeply hurt” by Prince Harry’s actions.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Britain on Wednesday, only a few days after it was announced that the pair would relocate to England with their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
It’s reported that the family will live in the Cotswolds, staying in a private residence rather than a royal home, as they did when they lived in Harry’s native land.

However, according to Maureen Callahan, King Charles appears to be welcoming the family back, putting Prince William in a rather awkward position, maybe even making the Prince of Wales seem like a “villain,” as she calls it.
This is when Callahan referred to Diana’s aforementioned famous quote, questioning in her Daily Mail opinion piece, “Why else would he allow William — always the dutiful son, the future King — to be put in such a position? Especially as the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death approaches.”
Continuing, Callahan said that she can “see it now,” the Duke of Sussex “banging on” that William is “too coldhearted” to forgive him and his wife, and “too stubborn” to reunite for the anniversary of Diana’s death.
However, Callahan defended William, telling her readers, “If anything, it’s quite the opposite. William seems to understand what few do or are willing to admit: Some people aren’t worthy of forgiveness — especially those who have never asked for it.
“Perhaps William realizes there are some things you can’t come back from, that some betrayals are too deep, too profound, to ever recover trust — let alone a modicum of politeness.”
Yet the columnist further noted that the King has instructed one of his closest advisors, Theo Rycroft, to help build a bridge between the two brothers.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said, “A rapprochement between William and Harry remains a work in progress, and Theo is taking the lead.”
Another insider then added that “under Theo’s watch,” William may indeed become civil with his younger brother again.
“The King would love to have Harry around,” a third source told People magazine. “He will want to see his sons together over time. This is the best opportunity we have seen in recent years.” However, only time will tell whether their relationship can be fixed.
