BREAKING NEWS: Meghan Markle dealt huge blow weeks after royal reunion as ex-pal drops bombshell
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK last month where they visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove.
Meghan Markle’s former friend has weighed in on her recent visit to the UK. It comes after Prince Harry recently travelled Britain to mark the one-year countdown before the start of the Invictus Games in Birmingham. Joined by his wife, Meghan, and two children, the prince also paid a rare visit to his father, King Charles and Queen Camilla.
It was the first time the King had seen his grandchildren face-to-face since they joined their parents at the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, which were held in June 2022. Charles and Camilla hosted them at Highgrove House, his private home in Gloucestershire. No other details about the afternoon meeting have been released.
Meghan’s former friend has addressed her UK return and is convinced we may never see the Sussexes alongside the other royals in public. Nick Ede first met Meghan during her time on Suits and helped her set up agency meetings to explore opportunities in the UK. They became friends and would often frequent Soho House together and go on regular shopping trips. They eventually lost touch before she went on to wed Harry.

In conversation with Cafe Casino, on behalf of Express.co.uk, Nick Ede, a television presenter and celebrity PR expert also doubts Harry and Meghan will ever reunite with Prince William and Princess Kate.
“I don’t think we will [see a public royal reunion],” Nick said.
I think that [Meghan] will remain close to the King and Queen in private moments but not publicly or with William and Kate.”
Harry has spoken openly about his desire to reunite with his family, most notably in a BBC interview in May last year, where he revealed that his father had cut off contact with him.

Elsewhere, the Duchess of Sussex made her debut appearance on MasterChef Australia as a guest judge and the episode pulled in over a million viewers.
Nick claimed the move was “confusing for her fans”.
He explained: “I think she came across as she always does, someone who is polished and slick, but she wasn’t relatable and she couldn’t answer simple questions about her favourite food for her family which felt a bit odd as it’s a cooking show.
She also said that she would have home-cooked meals made lovingly by her mother but on With, Love Meghan, she said she was a latchkey kid living off fast food, so once again confusing her fans.
He also addressed her decision not to be called Duchess of Sussex.
“She wanted to drop it so she could be more relatable to the contestants and the audience but the whole episode was centred around a dish fit for a duchess, and she will have been briefed on this when they pitched it to her so it feels confusing that she wanted to drop it!”
The episode was filmed in April, when Prince Harry and Meghan visited Australia where they completed a series of engagements in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. More than 1.5 million people watched the show as it broke the record for the biggest overnight Sunday audience since July 2023 and the biggest-ever overnight streaming audience, according to figures released by broadcaster Network 10.
