Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s spending on their UK move has raised eyebrows, with an insider claiming their finances ‘don’t add up.’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s finances “don’t add up” with a “sponsor funding their UK move,” a source has alleged.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly already spent a substantial sum on their UK return, despite speculation about their finances being smaller than they used to be.
The source suggested there is “no doubt” someone is providing financial support to the Sussexes in their UK move. It comes as Princess Diana’s brother sent a stern warning to Harry and Meghan about their UK move.
“Meghan, 45, and Harry, 41, are running on a very limited budget so it’s a shock to see them blowing $120k on a private jet using the dogs as an excuse,” the source claimed to the publication.

They continued, “The kids’ schooling alone is over $60k a year and the house they’re renting is around $75k a month and that’s without the renovations Meghan’s planning.”
The source suggested there is “no doubt” they are getting financial assistance, though the benefactor remains unknown publicly and the claims have not been confirmed.
The source alleged, “Harry and Meghan are paranoid about anyone trying to claim they’re bagging freebies but there’s no doubt someone’s helping them out. Whether it’s the King or Harry’s Uncle Charlie, the math doesn’t add up unless they have some kind of sponsor.”
The source suggested that if they are “somehow” not receiving any assistance, it demonstrates they are “going all in” on relocating to the UK.

Another source told RadarOnline the Duke and Duchess “aren’t broke,” but face substantial expenses with restricted income streams.
They claimed, “Their lifestyle costs an extraordinary amount to maintain, and adding another substantial home in Britain creates another layer of expense at a time when some of the enormous deals they signed after leaving royal life are no longer producing the same income.”
The Sussexes’ $100 million Netflix deal ended in 2025, from which Harry and Meghan “may ultimately have retained roughly $10 million to $15 million,” RadarOnline reported.
The couple also ended their partnership with Spotfiy. They do still have a stream of revenue with Meghan’s As Ever lifestyle brand.
The couple landed in the UK with their children Archie and Lilibet last week, arriving by private jet at Birmingham Airport before traveling onward to what is believed to be the Cotswolds.
