“That is urgent optimism; the confidence to act because we can already see what works, and the determination to take it to the scale this moment demands.”
He returned once again to the devastation caused by the summer wildfires, describing them as a reminder of why immediate action matters.
“We can, and must, make the remainder of this decade count.”
For William, the warning could hardly be clearer.
The climate crisis will not wait for political arguments, royal disputes or family disagreements to be resolved.
